- Hello Everyone, I decided to drop another Telecaster video into the bunch. Let's face it, Telecasters are fun to play. I picked up a 2017 Fender Telecaster, made in Mexico, for a great price with the intentions of modifying it. It's not exactly rocket science, but it was fun to select a few different pieces that alter the sound a bit. I chose Seymour Duncan pickups for this small project. The other Telecaster is also much fun to play. The Parallel Universe Series was a fun run from Fender. This is obviously heavily influenced by Gretsch designs. The TV Jones pickups are also a treat. Always remember that your music is important, and it never matters what brand or model you decide to select. The main thing is to PLAY WITH PASSION!

Hey Robert, it's good to hear from you. I hope that the kinfolk are healthy and safe, and, I also hope that you are playing lots of music. The summer just flew right by here in Michigan. Surprised that our weather wasn't too crazy this year. Soon we'll be doing daylight savings time....ugh....Well, the Bat Cave will continue to be noisy, and I certainly hope that you'll be knocking out those sweet notes on your axe too! Those are two beautiful guitars and you play them beautifully as always. I've actually been thinking about putting that Seymour Duncan '59 in one of my Teles. And those TV Jones pickups always sound amazing. Thank you for another great video.

The weather is already starting to feel like pre-winter here so it's time to wood-shed some more stolen chops. hahaha. I hope that you and your family have been good and healthy. Your Telecasters are awesome! I hear it and the sound of Duncans is very close to the sound of my ESP Xtone Paramount PC-1. 7 years ago I stopped to look for the new instruments. I don't know, maybe I am wrong, but the best guitar I have is that American Standard Stratocaster 1995. Since 1996 I am playing it with some variations - I have one more Strat (Mexican) for gigs, I have ESP that gives me a tones of the "Gibsonising", and my legendary Washburn 1987 USA, which I like because Washburn from 80-s has an amazing sound. Its not a custom, but the previous owner never touched it. I think, I am the only one, who has that axe, but its a Jackson with another name. My son was born in 2016, and I sold all my budget guitars, but very fast I understood, that this is a great instrument. I am not a big fan of superstrats with Floyd Rose bridge, but its not usual FR, its a T-600 system, where you don't need to cut the string for use it. I don't know, why they stopped to make it. Their pattern was great. Better, then Ibanez, Jackson and ESP. 4 guitars I have now are so good, I found the best ones, and now I don't see nothing to compare it with. When I will see, that I found something on the same level , I will buy it, but for now I am really satisfied with my stuff. But those telecasters are both sounds amazing. Fender rules since 1954. I want to buy Squier telecaster next year but it must be on the stage! For my position guitar must to play. At the home I can live with my old strat. But for the school where I am working I need a cheap and humble guitar: after 1/2 litter of beer, which someone throw on my Fender N°1, I prefer any cheap one, because the public is probably unpredictable, I must have something that I can survive on the stage, but for home playing it's enough to use my favorite guitar, but when its an interactive, it must be simple axe, which is not sensible to much. But I am really glad for you, you have excellent collection of instruments, and I am happy for you, I feel your good feeling! So, play on, and I will be glad to see it! PS: I wrote my name with "Z", but after Russia attack on Ukraine, I erased all those signs, I am allways against any war. And I don't want no politics in my life. I can't write on my channel "Z", its a sign of violence now. And you know, I hate wars, I learned all the history of wars in the world, and my conclusion was, that John Lennon was right! ☮️☮️☮️☮️☮️☮️ I like blades, but I hate guns. The blade can be sign of royalty, and the gun is only killing. Its not an instrument, not a tool, its only for kill. "Stay a human even in the place, where is only animals live!". So, that was the reason, why I made so big changes.
Hey Siegfried, I am very happy to have these Telecasters. In the mean time, the weather in detroit is getting very cold. Not as cold as RUSSIA..hahahaha. But I will try to stay inside and learn more new stuff. It's always good to hear from you. ROCK ON!!!
