a true masterpiece in my opinion. Compared to the absolute shit that gets all the credit today, this is just mind blowing. This is real talent.

Easily the best half of the album. Not that Sons of Winter and stars isn't awesome, but it isn't nearly as haunting as these two. Great Idea uploading the two together.

How I see this is song in my mind is not any dragons flying or anything fantastic like warriors and stuff. To me the intro is like the coming winter getting nearer and nearer. The temperature is dropping, days shorten and nights get longer. And once the song Time kicks in, the winter arrives. And the song Time is about struggling with the melancholic and dark period of the year, winter.
P.S. I'm Finnish and we have long, dark winters :P

very poetic, dude. I'm from the northern half of US and I love winter! Hahaha! I enjoy it when it's dark purplish blue outside and there's no wind and the temps are frigid! :D

I waited for 7 years for this album, and when it came out, even having incredibly high expectations, I whept throughout the whole album. I couldn't believe how good it was, and I still can't to this date. Every time I listen to it (which is a LOT), I get chills at something new I hear in every song.
I hope you all find Jari and crew as amazing as I always have, and I hope you would like to support the band by buying the album and perhaps some shirts, hats, wristbands etc to not only support them, but also to raise awareness.
My love for the band is undescribable and on a totally different level than anything else. It looks like most Wintersun fans feel somewhat this way as well, and I'm glad they're finally getting some of the recognition they so very much deserve.
PS: and don't forget TIME 2 this year!

Compared to the last album, I feel like this was better composed but I feel that the way this was produced, the music has a mushed-together feel. As if there is not enough distinction between the instruments. Still a really great album, love it very much.
Considering just a few years back this album was un recordable due to the complexity of the compositions I'd say it sounds great.
I'm going to blast this song in my car, on the first day of Winter, on the highway with all four of my windows down!
