We visited Arkansas and found the cornerstone of the official Louisiana Purchase State Park, but while there we learned some incredible things first hand in the place of their occurrence. You won't believe it until you see it!!

I know you’ve probably heard this hundreds of times but I would’ve loved it if you were my history teacher. You just bring things to life in a unique way and it makes me interested in what you’re talking about. I’m pretty sure I saw more of the back of my eyelids in school during history class than I did the actual learning portion, but I would’ve stayed awake if my teacher looked acted and sounded like you. You are fun and schools could take a few suggestions from how you format the things that you share with us. It makes it intriguing and as an adult I am really enjoying learning about the history.

Thank you so much!! I find it to be essential for us all to learn from the past to make better tomorrows but that means we have to engulf ourselves in the stories and finding a unique way to make them resonate and stick with us helps us better understand the overarching themes we were taught. So often those were more vague and less interesting because they didn't share the pieces which made them relatable today. I try to do that through a common sense history approach. When we see the world through the eyes of others we relate more to it.

Thank you so much! My goal has always been to share things that happen in our past, so that we can better understand this world that we live in. There are so many incredible places, but some of them have really strange things that have happened in the past and rather than avoiding them we can get up close and personal, and know them better so that we can also see how they factor into the bigger picture of the reality we live in today. I have several other really interesting history videos coming up but I think everyone will enjoy

I definitely think it’s worth it to come out but if you have the same fear that I do maybe come during winter. The last time that I was here I didn’t see anything and it was warmer, so there were more mosquitoes but at the same time always always being aware that these things exist is important.

I always enjoy being able to share things like this because I think that when we get the bigger picture and we see the places that they happen, it helps us to put the context into place a bit more. I’m so glad that you’ve enjoyed these videos I have lots of cool history coming up as I continue to travel.

When we visited, there were not, however, in the warmer months, there are a ton. Whenever I went the last time it was during the warmer months and it was definitely a mosquito fest.
