- Making the cutest PINK PASTEL witch costume for Halloween!! This outfit is 100% inspired by the pink pastel witch costume made by Keiko Lynn! Go check out her instagram and website for more really fun creations!
Sewing this dress and hat was quite the interesting process, it took me DAYS to put together because I had to keep stopping to take breaks! I made this dress when I was only 5 months pregnant but because I made the dress relatively size inclusive I was able to wear the dress at 7 months pregnant as well! I can't wait to see what it looks like on my NOT pregnant body! I have a feeling it will fit just fine!

I feel like a set of Flora, Fauna, and Merryweather costumes from sleeping beauty based on this dress/hat combo would be perfection.

lol I think about doing a closet tour all the time! but the thing that stops me is knowing id have to face the absolute monstrosity that is my basement full of fabric and sewing supplies 😂
Here is a tip for the next time you make a hat like this to avoid the organza issue. Sew 2 sets of the felt/organza layers, making sure to tuck the organza under the edge. Then sew the two hat pieces together, sandwiching the fraying organza inside. You can add wire inside for stiffness if you want, and add lace in between before you sew to stick out the edge if you want it. Hope this helps! 💟

im so glad you like it!!!! I feel like I worked hard on it but only because I've been so tired for MONTSH now!! lol you know how it is!! lol I kind of feel like an old mom to be honest, i'm in my 30's and this is my first and all my friends had kids YEARS ago! but I've had a really good life full of so many opportunities to learn and grow and I don't feel like I could have had kids any sooner than now!

My todays prodject was new roof attchments to curtin things and legs to my fabric stach shelf. And put fabric shelfs up finelly. Way overdid it due to fibromyalgi person here. But can atleast walk into bedroom and not in the half way point where ai didn't have a bed
lol I almost did a black version!!! but all my black fabric is in my basement and the pink stuff was right on hand 😂 so easy access stuff won out again!

I was also completely somnolent during pregnancy. It's so exhausting.
it really takes all your energy!! and in a way you really can't understand until you do it! its so insane, and even when you are resting, you are still tired!

How are you feeling? I'm just over here counting down the days till my second trimester as I battle though this morning sickness and extreme fatigue.
every day now I keep saying "Growing a person is exhausting."

dude you are so right, growing person is EXHAUSTING!!! I well into my third trimester and starting to feel it 😅 I do not miss those first few months, those were the toughest for me to get through, I was so nauseous all the time and basically just lived on my couch. I hope you start feeling better soon!! I got some major relief in the 2nd trimester and some decent energy too!!
Don't be hard on yourself! You're pregnant, so.. everything cost much more time. Rest when you need to. The dress is lovely and the hat looks great!
