I came to your channel because I've been maining bard. I've been getting griefed on by warlocks in Goblin caves, and was quickly loosing my mind. :O I guess if you can't beat em' join em'.
It's triggering me that you didn't use the luck potion hahaha. The jumps in drops for 50-150 luck isn't much, maybe half a percent per tier? I think 50 is the good barrier, but after that it's meh.
Great video! Do you have any advice for avoiding players and escaping consistently in HR? As Bard I keep running into PvPers and can barely find opportunities to loot stuff like in normals...
Getting used to and learning the mobs/map/spawns and how to move around is probably the most important for it (also paying attention to circle to not get in a bad spot). There are a lot of useful jumps and parkour, clearing the right mobs and opening doors to have places to run away through. Sometimes it's pretty unavoidable and it comes down more to gear and hitting with ranged weapons. Wouldn't recommend playing bard without at least some gear as movement speed is super important and you have to constantly rebuff with slow music playing speed that gives away your location to everyone. Right now using Lament of Languor song on enemies is really good for running away or chasing though, -20 movement speed cheap, quick, good range and long duration.
