Places that are absolutely situated like gems in Gippsland includes Lakes Entrance - a place that we as a couple has been in loved with since we migrated to Australia. We stayed in Wombat Way Cottage this time and we have enjoyed out stay to every minute of it with the visits from Aussie bushland animals kookaburras, parrots, wombat and many more. Fresh seafoods are within easy reach and the town is full of things to do for kids (plenty of playground, mini golf, sand bars and areas with sea life and many more). Always one of our top favourites.
