So happy for you! I ordered a Model S when Musk slashed the prices at beginning of September. I was under impression they had not yet removed the ultrasonic sensors from the Model S yet (as they had done on other models). Then yesterday I finally received the VIN # from them, along with a notice of “changes to your order”. It seems they sent me this notice of order change at the last minute which said it car will no longer have the ultrasonic sensors. After checking UA-cam experts on this, they have done actual comparisons between other models with ultrasonic sensors vs models with camera vision only. They universally agree that the back of vehicle is fine, but front distances are way off and don’t detect many low objects since there is nothing in front bumper any longer. I’m highly disappointed that they didn’t send this “change to your order” with this information just yesterday and not when I ordered. Any thoughts on this issue? Thanks so much in advance!

I actually prefer the soulless aspect of the buying and delivery process. Humans have wrecked the car buying process with add ons and constant sales games. I enjoy how straightforward the financing and delivery are. I think other dealers should take note, but they won't. The games is what makes dealership owners rich, and brings in fat commission checks for sales people.
