Britt was reared by a controlling, emotionally immature male. She never had the opportunity to learn to make decisions for herself all along the stages to maturity. Look at the men we’ve seen her attracted to in these skits. Even now as an adult, Malekhi is ignoring her request that he stay out of this. Yes, she’s acting like a teen-ager because she’s never been treated like a young woman.
While Malekhi gave her super excellent advice, he is not giving her the opportunity to make the adult choice to decide how she wants to use this advice to deal with Rob. Malekhi has taken control of the situation to deal with it the way he chooses. How will this grown woman ever learn to function as an adult with Malekhi refusing to allow her to learn?

It does not appear that he is. We’re just beginning to see the real Rob. Ty came on the scene as a bad guy. So already knew what was up. Rob’s true nature was revealed until he left town and then returned ( maybe this Rob is a long lost twin. LOL) We don’t yet know the full extent of his toxicity or how dangerous he may become. His mom, his aunt, Ro, Malikh, even his cousin for whom he’s suppose to be a role model, have all told him to stop this madness. He doesn’t listen and keeps moving as he chooses. I see how Britt is attracted to him, he is just like her dad. It’s subconsciously familiar to her.
The only one who seems to have an inkling of what he’s capable of is evil Tinker. Tinker used that knowledge to his own advantage.

I appreciate Britt taking responsibility for her decision making and actions. I would have never dated a man who wanted to be with my mother and confessed love for my mother. Asking me out would have immediately given me red flags. However, I do think Rob has fallen into infatuation with Britt and has genuine feelings for her. Also, I think he still is in love with Ro. I think he sees Ro in Britt. Britt has Ro's physical likeness. It's his way of being with Ro through her daughter. It may be a conscious or subconscious thing. I think Rob is genuinely remorseful. Also, you have men who will mistreat a woman and realize when they did the damage and lost her that she was the woman for him all along. Some come back, get accepted back and do right. Others get rejected and have no choice but to move on. Happens all the time.
