    Beautifully said. The collective consciousness has projected the “you complete me” story for a long time. It’s created a constant longing for the perfect partner. Kyle your work is going to change the world! I appreciate all that you do.

    the love of my life left me eight months ago. we were together for twenty years. i listen to one of your videos three weeks ago. you helped me through my pain, by telling me to love the negative emotion. so every time that i saw her in my mind with her new boy . i said out loud I LOVE IT.

    I accept the pain of the breakup. I also accept that I was able to love at the level I did. I evolved to another level of capacity of love that I never knew I could. Thank you for helping me realize that I don't need him to have fun. I don't need him to show love. I have the capability to be fun and to love.

    This is by far the greatest breakup advice on UA-cam. It helped me so much! I feel sorry for those who don't stumble upon this video - they would recover much faster.

    Also I'm almost always the breakuper and I can tell you it's always been incredibly painful and I've always still loved the person it was just a conscious decision. Was broken up with once and was surprised by the insecurity that came with it. Breakups are aaalways hard for BOTH people but you'll realize that you're still worthy and have always been worthy and both of you deserve to heal and will heal eventually

    I had this problem once years ago. This Lady told Me to look Myself in the eyes(in a mirror) and say to Me "I Love You". At first I would bend My head down as I said it or look sideways. It took about 4-5 months for Me to be able to say to Myself "I Love You". Now when I say it to Myself it is with Heart❤felt LOVE.

    Great video. Joseph, I really loved your question and your willingness to be vulnerable. What Kyle said about blocking the pain vs. accepting the pain was amazing. This is for anyone who is experiencing pain or negative feelings and trying to get over them, push them away, fix ourselves, etc etc. So relevant.

  • @SchramJavelin

    It’s so true what you said, Kyle.
    Sometimes everything is taken from us, which gives us emotional security.
    A friend, our parents, work. So we can learn emotional security without external
    emotional security.. That’s a big, beautiful step. We have to learn to love ourselves, for no reason,
    to be our best friend and become aware of our inherent nature,. To stay centered in our truth.
    If we don’t develop this for ourselves, how we can stay centered in a relationship,
    or bring stable positive feelings into a relationship, relying on ourselves and not the other.
    Otherwise it is way more about relying and projecting on the other, when triggered.
    Not ownership about how I feel. I don’t have to take everything in, it is a choice.
    It is their story. And when I understand this, I can be present and stay emotional stable.
    Stay centered and receive the other. It had to learn, not to save the other, change or rescue them,
    but to aknowlegde their sharing, staying emotional stable.

    I’m about to break up with my partner completely, I feel bad about it but he’s just overall not motivated enough for me, and his temperament is something I can’t tolerate. He’s not a bad person at all, we all have our flaws but I can’t deal with it. He doesn’t bring much to my life of substance I feel I contributed so much and I’m content with us not being together at this point and just being good friends.

    I believe the compatibility of relationships is Corollary to specific vibrations and frequency between those who are in relationship be it a husband and a wife or boyfriend and a girlfriend any relationship really.
    I also find that because of this the compatibility of the couple for example is depending on the frequency of the vibration between the two. If one moves from one vibration to another then you have contention, controversy and misalignment because the mutual frequency that you shared previously, kept you in agreement and permitted some form of objectivity and acceptance of one another bc acceptance is the highest frequency before moving into the area of transcendence.
    One of the two in relationship either moved up in their frequency and the other one went down or remained in status quo.in their frequency and we know what happens when there are two opposing frequencies they will fail to relate and they will fail to flow.
    This is the main cause for divorce, of course this is not obvious because most people do not relate in terms of vibration or frequency.
    It is is apparent however, you can see this in any relationship which is one reason why your friends in high school are not your friends today because you've grown into various frequencies opposing to others frequencies.
    So it is really important and even essential if you want to remain with someone that you both flow together in the same frequency.
    It's much like being on a boat on the ocean and you have the ebb and flow of the water as long as you can ebb and flow together then you will continue to be compatible as a couple.
    And it is the anger and bitterness that we keep because we have not forgiven past issues that keep our frequencies lower and into survival rather than into Transcendence.
    Every issue is a piece of luggage that causes you to have psychological weight and that brings you down into survival and into commercial where we seek distractions and denial within the material world, that will stop us from seeing who we really are and stop us from dealing with our issues that prevents us from transcending, into who we really are in our new creation of the spirit.

    what about abuse? how do you release that? If they did abuse you? How does "no one can do anything to you"? work in that situation?

    • @crazywithsanity2384
      @crazywithsanity2384 7 років тому

      Paige Maron This is what I was thinking. Physical abuse is done to you.

    • @skyblue2121
      @skyblue2121 6 років тому +5

      But staying is on you. I'm not saying he isn't responsible for hurting you, but we are all responsible for our own lives. There were probably signs before the abuse, and that is your lesson. Peace, sister.

    • @bananapete
      @bananapete 6 років тому +4

      I think what he's saying is that they might be aiming at you, but they aren't doing it because of you, they are doing it because of themselves.
      Abuse situations are tricky, because they often rely on control or dependence, whether there are kids involved, financial attachments, or emotions. However, if this is something the abuser is seeking, they will do it to anyone.

    • @skyblue2121
      @skyblue2121 6 років тому +3

      I agree with that about abusers. I also think there are those victims who will stay and try to fix the situation, or stay out of fear of not having financial security or whatever, and those who would be out of there in a NY minute, long before anything serious happened. It's all where we are in our evolution that would allow us to stay or to be attracted to abusers.

    • @edlee1969
      @edlee1969 6 років тому +8

      Abuse is a tough thing, Paige, but it can also be approached from the same optics of Self Love. A person who values themselves naturally remove themselves from abusive partners and dangerous situations.
      Yet the abuser is also just doing their "abusive thing". If it wasn't to you they'd be doing it to someone else. Try not to personalize it and therefore make the abuse part of your story or identity. Far more important to focus on the work of growing self love, growing the courage and reason to just leave the abuser with a clean break.
      No one can do anything to you when you don't allow them to, either physically, verbally, or even egoically (by identifying as their victim). When you start on the inner work of growing in self-knowledge, you start to see how just many decisions we all made unconsciously in our lives that we can now "be there" to make consciously.

      Isn't love between 2 people? Who is loving who? You are saying the mind loves the ego? Who is I and who is myself?

    • @edlee1969
      @edlee1969 6 років тому +6

      Actually, when you grow to love yourself you naturally become more "attractive" to people who also love themselves. They can sense a calm joy in you that is a reflection of the feeling they have within themselves.
      Of course you may also be attractive to folks who don't have that level of self-love and seek that confidence from being with you. You'll naturally sense their neediness, appreciate them at their level, but keep a safe and comfortable distance to maintain your space and stability.
      When you love yourself you learn to value and protect safety and sanity while encouraging other's to grow by your example.

      You should try cbd oil, or cbd spray. CBD helps treat anxiety also. One month and you will feel better. It's NOT Addictive. Just hard to purchase, because always sold out. My favorite is this one bit.ly/2AqEi2r it's not too strong but helps a lot.

    Kyle I think our spouse is the only other deeply intimate person, significant other who can assist us in healing our pain. We help each other heal through mutual exploration, acceptance, affection, and so forth. I don't think numbing is the helping. But rather the helping to feel more in a safe space. Some of your ideas remind me of "Oprah" ideas. I like the therapist who she called America's finest in the field. Rabbi Gary Neuman challenged her idea that we choose a lover merely to enhance our lives. He firmly believes that we learn to love ourselves most effectively within an I/Thou relationship. That humans by nature are mutually dependent or interdependent upon each other for developing our sense of wholeness. This is not to say that individuals such as monastic for instance cannot heal, grow and continue to expand. St Paul seemed to think marriage helped in the case where the individuals burned with a sacred erotic love. And noted it could bring them trouble. Paul also seemed to suggest it was better to gain spiritual heights by remaining single. Yet Christ's description of marriage was beautiful and a reflection of Canticles or the Song of Solomon wherein both yearned longingly for the profound satisfaction of romance and sexual expression in the other exclusively. Cleaving to the wife and both shall become one flesh! Wow. Intense intimacy. I like to tell others Jesus didn't say hold your wife's hand. He said cleave! I do observe that an adequate amount of self appreciation and self care is first necessary to love another as one's self. He doesn't say love the other while neglecting the one's personal self. But rather make the spouse one's other self.

    • @Klynfullington
      @Klynfullington 5 років тому

      Deana Burnham ... I believed that about the sacredness of marriage also.... an imago dei relationship... but Christ loves ME so much that I don’t have to endure abuse in order to grow and evolve. God is FOR ME.

    Great talk, although, I disagree with some of what you are stating. I don't think pain awareness is black and white. Yes, someone can do something to you- how do you explain a child who is sexually abused by an adult? Or someone being attacked while walking down the street.?

    • @marthahorton5350
      @marthahorton5350 8 років тому +5

      I think what he is trying to say is that we have the power to assign what people's actions mean to us. People like Oprah Winfrey for example who was a victim of sexual abuse, didn't allow those events to hurt her in a way that took away her power to become who she is. She doesn't think child abuse is something good. But she didn't allow it to strip her of her love for herself. There is evil in the world no doubt about it. But when you reach a level of self-love and connection with the source of who you truly are, nothing a person says or does can truly hurt you. You have a safe space inside yourself where you know you are truly loved. Most people don't find that space or that way of being until they have been stripped of everything they love or gone thru an incredibly deal of pain and loss.
