Sorry but I kinda need this quick is there any guide to answering a short story for junior cert

Do you have more choices other than short story?

Unless you have a short story planned, I would go with one of the other options. Short stories can be quite tricky. If you are going for a short story make sure you have a structure with an opening closing climax etc. Also don’t stress the junior cert does not matter at all
