Santa’s Magic is BEAUTIFUL!!! Santa is my favorite, even my Christmas tree is themed in Santa. So I definitely have to start eBay hunting for that pattern, for sure!

I finally finiahed the last installment of this video today!😂 props to your sister for choosing a dimensions gold kit! Those are a whole different level of difficulty! That santa is amazing!! The detail is outstanding!! Thanks for the tip about whisper thread! My stitching style has evolved also from monogamous to stitch everything in sight so I get where you are coming from! Hope you ankle heals up and enjoy your trip! Sounds like it's going to be a blast!

There’s nothing wrong with masking tape on the edges. If you don’t have a sewing machine or serger it’s a viable alternative. Whip stitching the edges also works, but can take a long time depending on the size of the fabric. A lot of fabric comes with the edges sewn already, which is great until you cut the fabric into smaller sizes. With masking tape you just trim the fabric covered by tape when you finish the project and you’re good to go. I started embroidery and cross stitching when I was seven and after several decades of experience, how the edges are done makes zero difference to the finished project.
I agree, there’s nothing wrong with masking tape. I’m more laughing at how different my mom and I are in our styles. Thanks for watching

Love all your WIPs. I have the pin up girls and you are making it hard not to start it😂. Ok I broke down and rebought the #4 krenik for Santa’s Magic. I won’t be starting until December. What floss did you use with the Whisper thread?

I really have enjoyed your channel! I especially like your love for kits. I love to stitch all the things but I do like kits a lot too. I have a question. How do you handle the floss that comes with your kits? I haven’t figured out a good system yet and am just wondering what you do. I saw that you had a Pako but you indicated that it was an old system. I need help! Thanks, Hugs and blessings.
Thank you for watching! I’m a cross country stitcher - I try to use up the colors so I don’t have to put them back. Which kits do you have? For Merejka/letistitch, I usually just re-wrap my leftover floss around the card. For dimensions, i re-wrap it as well or whole punch the other top half of the floss card to wrap the extra flosses.
Pako organizer is actually a really good system, I just don’t use it as often anymore because it’s so bulky. But hope this all helps!
@@BernStitches Thank you so much! I’ve thought the Pakos looked really bulky too. So far I’ve been just wrapping but I really like the idea of punching a hole. My biggest problem is what to do with my blends. I have mostly Dimensions but a few Letistitch and you have introduced me to Merejaka but I haven’t purchased any yet. I used Bella Lusso wool thread. I got Snow White and soft white although. I think either one would work

I see you're using Nurge hopp large one. Do you hold it, or do you use it in a stand?
I usually use a stand, either my lowery or velke potoky portable stand. I do sometimes hold it, but my hand gets tired easily with the bigger nurge hoops.
