    I don't normally watch poets on UA-cam so I am hardly an expert, but the addition of imagery of someone working in a workshop did add to the experience of listening to your prose.

    Great video - if I am just starting out woodworking, would you recommend the Shaper or not. I am in no hurry to rush in to this, but see your workshop is fully stocked and I understand a tool is just a tool, but just curious your thoughts. Thanks!

    I use that double-sided tape sold by shaper, it works great.

      Yep, that is the nice one ; but my cheap ass wanted to see if I could find a similar one for half the price :)

    Great video! You are quite clever! Do you have the svg file for the spoiler board and cam clamps?? Can you add them to shaper hub so they're available? It would be much appreciated.

    Nice demo of the Shaper Origin. Is the audio an AI generated one or a text to audio reader? Doesn’t sound realistic due to some strange pronunciation and robotic like pauses mid sentence.

      Sure
      The corner jigs svg : drive.google.com/file/d/1-7VpmHJUwlkfIl4nNAG7ag0dEmMsl12u
      The saw blades storage svg : drive.google.com/file/d/1-CiuWt6R9wc_cuqGg1WKohfvxiAhrYhw
      You have to download them for a preview. Google drive shows you the code. It's possible to read it, but it's better to see it :)
      I add this to the description

    Hey Fabian, are all your patterns are designed by you or you find them online? In this presentation!?

    • @fabien-makes-things
      @fabien-makes-things  2 місяці тому +1

      I design them on illustrator. This is a must have skill for the tool. You have a lot of things online, but they are often not exactly what you need. There was something on shaperhub that was almost what I needed for the rounding jig for example. But I wanted to do it with small metal studs.
      Shaper hub is an awesome resource if you want inspiration.

      @@fabien-makes-things I found a plate plan on Shaper hub that is similar as yours except that it is 2 different plate size I though you used those and merged them together ?

    • @fabien-makes-things

      I don’t remember exactly. But I think it was a merge of three different things. I really wanted a large plate and there was not a big enough one for me. And I wanted something in metric. And a lot of holes.
