Postponing dementia is a huge reason I’m trying to work out regularly. My dad had it. I’m 53; my grandkids and their mom live with us, so I NEED to stay healthy for them.
Yes!
I remember when my shoe size increased from 7.5 to 8 after I had kids. I was like... No one told me that was going to happen! 😆
There’s so much they don’t tell you, eh? And yet the pregnancy books tell you eeeeverything about that stage! 👟👠✌🏼😉
This video was ABSOLUTELY more fun to watch because you were wearing all your surplus clothes!
Haha! Thanks!
Oh You dont even need an extensive wardrobe with Your exuberance and uplifting personality we do not see Your ensemble we see You !!!😁❤️
Wow, thank you! 🌷
Not just ladies get sentimental about their clothes. When I was dating my husband to be, he showed me his prize t-shirt from Seattle. Something seemed a bit off, so I asked him to try it on & we discovered that he likely last wore it when he was a young kid. Extricating his now tall and much bigger body from that t-shirt was memorable in itself!
Oh yes!! Not just women!
My husband still have sentimental T-shirts and jackets 20 years old (that he rarely wears, if at all) but there is no reason for him to let go, because he still fits them! 😂
I love this video. Especially... "Our body composition changes. Things move around. Certain things move down. OK?" 😏
Thanks 🙏🏼 👋🏼🌷
Thank you for the reminder to let go of things that no longer fit (and never will again!)! You are just adorable! 😀
You are so welcome! Aw thanks
I didn't mind watching this video again... it's definitely one of your Greatest Hits! I especially like how you incorporated your knowledge as a nurse because most of us don't expect our foot size to change after we're fully grown.
Totally!! I’m glad you don’t mind the repost! I had to private the other one
What a delightful and motivating video. Now-I am hitting my closet to declutter.
You can do it!
Robin, your message is extremely motivating, so I'll shut down my computer and head to my closet with a donation box and trash bag in hand. Thank you for inspiring me again! ~Margie🤗
Yay Margie!
Great video! Girlfriend, am I guilty of this problem. My weight has changed by 30 pounds in the past year and though I am trying to lose again, I am 65 and it’s sloooow going. So time to declutter the clothes I may never wear again. Since I am happy to thrift shop, I can replace my clothes fairly inexpensively when it comes to that. BTW you are hilarious! Love this!
You can do it!
I needed this, because I have a closet of clothes that I'm working through. Most are "souvenir" t-shirts from vacations, but many don't fit me now. Working on my bod, but also thinking about whether I would actually wear them again. Struggling with sentiment but trying to balance with a dose of reality. Your video is timely for me.
That’s great!
You’re so right about things moving around. My high school and college clothes look bad on me even though I weigh the same or less! 20 years of gravity will do it.
Ugh! Gravity
Yes, my shoe sizes have stayed the same❣️
I am a 7½, 8, and rarely an 8½ or a 7. Shoe size to me just depends on the brand. Clarks I am an 8. Most heels because of the angle I feel more secure in 7½. I seem to trip when shoes are big, even just a little.

You're awesome. We love you and your videos.
Thanks so much! “We” means that you’re watching with someone and that’s great! Go team! 🌟
Great guidelines! ❤Now I need tips on not stress eating!
😅 🍫 🍬 🧀
Oooh! That’s not my area of expertise
I don't work out, but I ride my bike every day at least 20 km... The reason I don't declutter anything else I have because I decluttered what I didn't like the fit...
The problem is that if I wish to buy the same items in a bigger size, or smaller, the fashion is different.
All the clothes I see everywhere even on line I hate unless it s like Miu Miu Valentino or half naked clothes to go on red carpet
... It is not relatable.
I loved drift store the most because I find fashion out of fashion 😂
Unfortunately there are very few and most of the time you don't find the size of the exact items.
Since I declutter I only both joggers. Literally.
I wish I had money to buy Hermes Barbour and these high classi fashion, till that moment, I am not decluttering nor buying anything
Yes those are not clothes I like (or could afford) either ☺️
Another fun and inspiring video! 💕
Thanks so much!
That was an EXCELLENT video! Thanks so much for the wisdom!
Thanks Leah!
These are very helpful questions, especially about body composition!
Thanks! ✅✌🏼🌷
Great video!❤
Thank you!!
The shoes hit hard... That darn pandemic messed me up in so many ways. Because I didn't go out for a full season the first lockdown (that hell spring) & almost not the second one (the next fall), my feet went from kinda problematic because of shape and weight gain, to hell on earth finding shoes that fit. I went up one size & I have to find large, high on the arch if that makes sense, & soft shoes with sole support (my back was messed up to hell too). I donated most of my shoes... & I'm going to do a last full declutter with this change of season.
With clothes, I've been ever more ruthless. If it's not comfy, I don't want it. To heck with fantasy me, I want actual me to find my stuff, be able to store them easily & wear what I feel comfy in, because life is too short for anything else. I do want to loose some weight for health reasons, but I just kept bottoms (jeans, pants, shorts) & a jacket or 2 because those I'll still wear. The rest of what I had from before, especially tops, I don't want to wear even after loosing weight. Who I am & what I enjoy changed since then. What I wear now as tops will fit me even better once loose some extra at the middle. & I actually like these clothes!
Really it's been all about being practical, learning more about who I've become & enjoying this right now me. I guess I realized that I needed a life that fit me right now. Tomorrow will take care of itself just fine!
Great reflections! 💪🏼🌷💕
I like Cas from Clutterbug's saying about clothes. "If it doesn't fit, it's toxic!" A whole bunch of "Diet failed", "You're fat", etc., etc. This helped me to get rid of a lot. Also, thanks for the info about feet!!!! Trainers that used to fit now rub on the sides of my feet and your comment made me stop yelling the fat, failure stuff at myself. I have now decided to get some new shoes that fit me in my current stage of life. Thanks again!!
So smart she is!
Thank you for this video. I’m a new subscriber and slowly getting through your wonderful videos. I sent you a DM 💕
Welcome! Thanks! 🌷
"I feel like a kindergartener in this dress." LoL You actually look taller than 5'1".
😊✌🏼🌷
You are brave and funny to show those clothes but why do you still have them.
Thanks! I had all these clothes for the same reason that many people do! Each item had a reason for being there and didn’t start out as clutter, but decluttering helped me let go a bunch!
You are very slim so you must have been even smaller when you fit into those clothes. Pregnancies can definitely alter your body so don't be surprised if there are changes.
😊🌷💕
