The clothes are inspired by our traditional clothings prior to the colonization of the spaniards. (Fun fact: the textiles used are sourced from our govt's science & technolgy agency, basically using local raw materials to make the cloth, and rendering it water resistant, perfect for their dance in the water)
Their colorful outfits are cut from textiles often used as blankets & bed covers in the country as well.
Btw, the dance was choregraphed by one of the members, Jao
