I was feeling the song and video. Then I started to read the words. Y'all, I feel like I need to go to church. The song was literally the devil singing that he's getting us all and doesn't care what the consequences are...
coming from a religious background and being an avid kpop listener at the same time, one of things that I took away from the song is the striking difference between human desires and eternal love/the intangible things that will stay after we die.
the concept of the song & album are fallen angels that have come down to earth because they fell in love with a human. the angels gave up a perfect eternity to be with a human on an imperfect earth, even though they know that the human is not immortal.
is that selfish of them? brave of them? wrong of them? or instead, is it more of a question of why would they do that kind of thing and toy with humanity? what was the reason that convinced them to fall?
I've been loving the entire concept and rest of the songs on the album because it makes me wonder and think about interesting questions/topics like this one, even if it's just all for fun and the enjoyment of the music. I think it's really cool to see!
@@sidneymari yeah, no. That's not why angels are fallen. Not even in the Boyz concept.
@@lisettes.9598 you are correct! angels don't fall for that reason (according to the bible, it is because of their pridefulness & illusion that they may become better than god, e.g satan). during early promotions of the album, the tbz members specifically stated that the concept of the song was that the angels fell from heaven for love, which is why I previously mentioned that the angels gave up heaven because they fell in love with humans.
from a canonical perspective, of course that's not how fallen angels work hahah. but with the members' confirmation of the concept in mind + the perspective of the album as a whole + the story of song, its an interesting idea to think about and definitely a fresh concept that some fans haven't seen from a kpop group in while.
@@sidneymari i understand that's what THEY said their concept was. But if you read the words of this particular song, the words fit the ORIGINAL concept of fallen angels.
@@lisettes.9598 oh gotcha! sorry I think I misread what you were saying 😂 yes, I do agree on the lyrics and how it matches with the original concept of fallen angels. I think the song as a whole is quite reflective to the idea of blindly pursuing certain desires/power/pride to become better than everyone else. angels fell because they thought that they could have more power or be better than the god that created them. the line that says "My unbridled instincts earned the wrath of the gods
/ It can't be quelled, my desire, it's so raw / Why dares to say no?" feels like it alludes to the selfish pride that fallen angels feel. and of course the chorus "fallen angel is my name / I turned my back on paradise" is the most obvious lyric that confirms those concepts
This song definitely made my top 10 favorite songs of theirs. It’s my second favorite song on their album. My favorite song is actually Savior, you should check it out and maybe react to it.
This song is definitely one of my favorites. If you haven't already could you possibly react to 'she's the boss' by them as well? It's another one of my favorites.

Correct me if i'm wrong but i think i read somewhere that the people who edited this video where also involved in Seventeen's HOT which is a masterpiece of editing in itself.
The video is sitting very closely on the list with Stealer but whistle got me thinking of NCT Sticker and story got me thinking of EXO'S Growl so guess they had a baby and this is this their child. The director and video graph person needs a raise along with the set designer. Juyeon needs to chillax I see why he's fallen angel he just straight up slapped me and stole my soul while I was down and the rest just walked over my body and snatched my weave. Jre I think we need an album review of the Boyz on twitch.
