Really enjoy your videos. At a time when it seems that greyhound racing is in decline, what a great advert you are for the sport. The care and your obvious love for the dogs is a credit to you and the sport. Every success for the future
Well done Adam. Fantastic just to be in the final, never mind run such a big race. I'm only a small owner/trainer aswel and it's great to see the little man go up against the full-time 100 dog kennels. Fair play from 🇮🇪
@@MoiraDrennan I would have been so pleased if we had won the final, but if you had said we would come runner up at the start I would have taken that. I think with greyhound racing you never stop learning. I feel that I learn every day. Especially watching races or trials and assessing the dogs over the distance. Thankyou for watching.
He lead every where but the home straight just got pushed wide of the bend he's a good dog his turn will come well done your videos have rekindled my love of dog racing, nights as a kid with my dad at Wimbledon
He does tend to swing off a bit coming out the 2nd bend, maybe as he matures he will hold his line better. He seems to fly from the curved front traps. He trailed at Towcester Sunday, the traps are straight and seemed to rise slowly. Hopefully he comes out on Saturday night & wins , but it’s a very strong race as it’s Derby Final Night.
Hi Adam. Coming from an ex small syndicate owner I have always wondered what it’s like the week leading up to a final. Does the trainer change anything, or do more or do less? A really brilliant watch so Thankyou. I’m genuinely thinking of getting back into greyhound ownership.. I’m in Westerham so Central Park would be no trouble. I hope whatever you want to happen post these brilliant vlogs happens. I’d love to be a small part of it at some stage. You, and the dogs are absolute stars. Well done and my best regards for the future 👏
Thankyou so much for your kind words. I said in the very first episode I would show the ups & downs & I hope I have been able to do this. Going to try & show a bit more kennel life, but don’t want to make them too long.
6:25 Hi Adam, I train race horses in ireland , and recently ran a horse on a vitamin called bioactive booster that won ,the lady that sold it to me said greyhound dogs thrive on it ,
@@James-b7p2k I think you are probably right, he has lost a bit of pace of late (although he recorded a good time) & other dogs in the race might have been faster. But you don’t lose track craft and Jack knew his way around Towcester and was able to hold them off. Always found a bit extra around the second bend. But I think the time was right, no injuries and winning made the decision very easy.
@@James-b7p2k Sorry James just realised you were replying to Lennie’s race. I think if he was another 1/4 length in front he might have been able too. Going around the first I thought he had got it, but unfortunately the 4 drove the inside line really well. Hopefully one day we will get a Cat One win 👍
I Adam seen the race video I've seen Lenny run better to finish second is still a achievement still a young pup he will get a cat1 he will become stronger you have a brilliant dog kcj💙
Well done Adam on reaching a cat 1 Always great to see that massive smile on your face earlier on in the year you was hit with some bad news with koopa but your team of dogs have picked you back up and Lennie really is coming into his own Let’s not forget how inexperienced this dog is (Lennie) so to run a massive race and come runner up in a cat 1 competition might not be the win you wanted and deserve but I would turn that into a massive achievement you’ve accomplished there Adam and so much more to come His and yours day will come 🎉
Thankyou Aaron. I appreciate your kind words. With Jack nearing retirement, Lennie has certainly become top dog for us & hopefully Koopa will return. Was hoping to gallop him this week, but it’s been too hot. Holly is coming out of season so we can start to step her up soon. Just need to get to the bottom of Rocky’s toe injury now.
Really enjoy your videos.

It was a great experience for us. He’s out again Saturday Derby Final Night.
So impressive to have achieved Cat 1. I learn so much from you.
Lennie is a star ⭐️

Hard luck Adam. Great to see the race vids but also just to see day to day life with your beautiful hounds.👍
I’m going to try & add more kennel life to the videos a bit more training and feeding, but I don’t want them to be to long.
Shame he didnt get the win but still a brilliant achievement. I was hoping for a win for you on the night. Thanks again for the videos
Hi good luck Lennie tonight nice running on derby night final 💙

He didn't get pushed wide, that's the way he runs. Have a look at some of his other races. He certainly ran well to the first bend though.
@@totebal1409 electric from the box though

Fair play, incredible achievement and magnanimous in defeat, the sign of a true gentleman
Thankyou so much for your kind comments . He runs Saturday Derby Final Night in another strong sprint, hopefully he can go one better 🤞
Wow so close !!, nice work team!!
We were so close with him, hopefully we will get another opportunity.
Ran brilliant 👏
Thankyou. At the first bend I thought he was going to win, but just couldn’t get over enough.

You both are champs! You'll get your win. Keep trying.
Thankyou. Hopefully he can win Saturday night at Towcester.
Still a champion in my eyes. I'm sure he'll just get better with more experience, and he came off the track safe and sound.
Yes I agree with you, it’s easy to forget he is only a baby. He races Saturday at Towcester, then we will give him a few weeks rest.
Well.done
Many Thanks John. He’s racing next at Towcester. Derby Final Night.

Thought he mint have checked 4 up at the first bend and then went on and won still a great achievement

Brilliant run he is such a young dog you will get that cat 1 win
I really hope so Roy 🤞, he runs on Saturday Derby Final Night. Very strong race.
@@AdamSearGreyhounds he ran well again in Saturday mate must have been amazing being part of Derby night
Why did the other dog push him so wide 😤
He ran wide by himself, wasn't pushed, watch his other races and you'll see he runs wide off the second bend. Still ran a good race all the same.
He does tend to drift off a bit coming off the second bend hopefully as he matures he might hold his line better.
