As a native dane, I have to admit that the tears flow when hearing this version of the old song. Jeg elsker dig Danmark.
A Norwegian friend - who is of French-Guianian origin (Fransk Guyana) - told me one that the most beautiful Scandinavian languages is Danish. She very much likes hearing Danes speaking in their native language. I agree with her: I think that Det Dansk sprog is really beautiful. Hilsen fra Paris.

Skulle være vores nationalsang, simpelthen så smuk
Det er bestemt en smuk sang, men da vores nationalsang jo primært bruges som en form for fællessang til diverse arrangementer i dag, ville denne ikke være et godt valg, synes jeg. Folk ville sgu ikke kunne synge den.. Og slet ikke ikke "jeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeg"-delen af "Dig elsker jeg" i denne version.
Jeg foretrækker personligt den oprindelige version af denne sang, men de er nu begge gode, vil jeg mene. Jeg tror bare, at denne version ville falde totalt til jorden, når den gennemsnitlige dansker ikke kan være med. Så er det jo ikke en folkets sang. :)
