I recently met one of the Bunnik Tour reps, Zoe, down in Perth. The way she introduced the company and emphasised how beneficial the company is for its customers made my determined to sell them to anyone interested in guided tours. New found respect for you guys.
I have flown UK to New Zealand a few times recently in economy class. Both flights were in an A380 The seats are comfortable with more legroom than most carriers, which is important when flying for over 20 hrs. The infotainment system is on the seat back, keeping it out of the way (except on the front rows). The staff are really helpful all the way through the flight ( Dubai to Auckland flight doesnt have a stopover in Australia anymore) helped by having enough staff on board. emirates are the best airline I have ever flown with.
Returning to Melbourne on Emirates Business Class this Friday. Came over to the UK three weeks ago again Emirates Business Class on the 380. The first leg from Melbourne to Dubai was I think not the newer version. However from Dubai to Gatwick, most certainly the same type of aircraft you flew on. Overall an excellent product. The cabin crews were so friendly and helpful, and the food was incredible.
Just flew Emirates Business Class on A380 from Singapore to Dubai and continue to Glasgow. Both flights were fantastic. Price: Same as JAL Premium Economy. The flight itself was great from start to the end. Flying with Emirates looks better than Qatar.
I live in the UK and my son and 5yr grandson live in Brisbane. As I’ve never met him and flights cost too much, I really love watching your videos, deciding which planes look the best😁. It creates an exciting dream world for me and for that I say….Thank you!!
If you can get the money together then you MUST treat yourself to a flight. I've been lucky enough to do the run from London to BNE a couple of times and because I hadn't seen my partner for some time (Covid) I managed to get enough cash together to give her a treat, since when she hasn't stopped talking about the flights and lounges. A word of warning though, once you've had your head turned you won't want to fly any other way in the future.
Thank you Dennis - we are off to Madrid in October and fingers crossed we are in an upgraded A-380, however 2 years ago we flew to the UK which was our first Emirates experience and that was great. Last year flew Royal Thai and what a difference. Thumbs up to Emirates!!! Looking forward to some Bircher muesli and visiting the bar again. Great summary of what's available. Cheers.
Hi Dennis, I’ve been watching your videos for years and appreciate the reviews, it’s oftener shaped my decision on which airline I’ll fly. A video idea - could you do tier list rankings of various business/prem econ products? You could update these periodically.
Loved Emirates business class, London to Dubai with my sister, back in 2010, we were treated like princesses and it was so luxurious with delicious food and champagne. Travelled on Qatar business Melbourne to London in 2016, that was perfect too and also Etihad Melbourne to London in 2019, not nearly as good. Hope to travel again in the future. Love your reviews thankyou.😊
Travelled from Manchester UK to London Heathrow, then Changi, Sydney and finally Brisbane in October 2023... First time travelling business class... it was ok... but my plan was to go with Emirates but paying cash it was too expensive after covid etc... so ... next May (2025) finally get to fly Emirates Business Class from Machester UK to Brisbane... Your reviews over the past few years have really helped... and I'm really looking forward to travelling BC....
Hi Dennis Great video as always flew back last week from Cebu in business and then in First to London can confirm the new business “PJs” are great very soft and comfortable so much so that I’m watching your video wearing them Keep up the great work
Hi Dennis, I flew Business class on Emirates from Sydney to Dubai back in 2022. I was fortunate and got it by purchasing a very cheap upgrade at Sydney airport. Apart from the great onboard Bar and food, that's where the good experience ended. Not sure what it's like with International flights, however in domestic, even cheap upgrades to Business on Qantas give access to the Business class lounge. Emirates refused me entry. My seat was uncomfortable and in lie flat mode, it felt like is was leaning at a backwards angle & No bedding provided to anyone. The amenities kit you show was a vast improvement on what we got back then. It was when the world was reopening after COVID and they were charging up to $15,000 for Business class. I felt they were taking advantage of the situation by putting their supposed World class to one side as people just wanted to travel. Sorry about the rant, but that's just how it was😱
That's disappointing considering how much they were charging at the time. Also don't like it when you do an upgrade (points or cash) and they don't give you the full experience like lounges.
Great video once again, Dennis. I could tell that you were buzzing a bit more than usual prior to this flight which is always a good sign. I mean A380 and flying in business, what isn't to be excited about, right? Thanks for posting in 4K again. Cheers!
I’m always careful when booking a business class seats with emirates on the A380. Completely agree that the seat and facilities are fantastic but where Dennis was sat during that flight is seen as “the back cabin”, I think 4-6 rows maximum and on night flights it can become loud and difficult to sleep because of the noise from the toilets, galley and bar at the back of the plane. I’m always conscious to book the front cabin for split between the fun at the bar and some quiet when I want to sleep, eat and watch. Great content as always Dennis. Thanks!
Glad they've revised their decorating scheme with the warm tones of walnut and abandoned their previously gaudy obsession with "gold plating" on everything. Their new look in this cabin is of elegantly restrained 'bling'.
Thanks for mentioning this! Have they revised the decor on their entire fleet? It would be great if so, because the faux gold finishing is a put-off for me 😅
@@joyLoveC Not all have this decor yet, and the "gold bling" is still outfitted on the older planes. For some aesthetic reasons, that look still denotes opulence and "class" to a particular group of Arab culture. Gold on everything is also a signature within many of their hotels. It drives me nuts and I can't stand it. To me, it's as cheap-looking as a proliferation of polished brass. Yeah, I'll admit I'm a bit of a snob - I was traumatized by the decorating trends of the 1970's. Lol.
I can’t wait to experience the Emirates business class hospitality myself in June from Manchester to Perth. Probably my one and only time I will get the chance to fly business class so I’m going to make the most of it. Definitely a window seat for me too 💗. Great video as always Dennis.
I have been flying Emirates business class Sydney to Europe for over 20 years . Always a really great experience. Tried Boeing planes once but always go on A380 in seat K as you did. Last flight we hit an air pocket and the plane dropped a bit. Causing a stewardess to fall onto a male passenger. She then sat on his lap until the plane was stable. Saying that was what they were taught to do and that he could have put his arms around her. It was the first time for her and an experience for him. Seat belts on newest A 380 are a bit shorter than older planes. Thought I had put on some extra weight. Definitely will be staying with Emirates.
I really enjoy your reviews Dennis. We'll be flying Emirates for the first time in May from Sydney on our way to our third Bunnik tour. Sadly, not in business class, however I continue to buy my lottery tickets and live in hope! 😊 Thanks for another great video. Cheers from the Gong!
Great video Dennis , we are looking at going to Europe in the not to distant future using business class ( I have back issues and can’t sit in a economy class seat for more than 2 hours ) so Emirates is on the radar now .
I have flown this leg with Emirates and Qatar (from Doha). Loved them both. But Qatar wins for me purely down to the dining on demand. With passengers body clocks all over the place, it suits me over having a bar.
Dennis You didn’t mention the price of the flight Glasgow Brisbane is now nearly £7000 return whereas before Covid it was around £4000 when we flew . Recently tried Asiana which is nearly as good but much cheaper in business class.
Hi Dennis, long time not seen. I fully agree with your assessment of Emirates in business and have made bookings for three Melb- Rome flights in the next 15 months, saving both my sanity and hearing( on the A 380) and money flying a code share with the most expensive airline in Australia. Rumour has it that Emirates employs its own baggage handlers in their hub and major airports, so luggage appears every time. See you in the sky, undoubtedly in the Emirates bar next couple of years? Take care of that throat -----aged single malt is the best.
I’ve selected seat 23A & 23K for my Emirates A380 flights Perth to London return, it’s in the secluded smaller section near the bar but farthest seats away from the bar, I think it’s going to be great in May. Definitely a big part of enjoying my trip.
I have only flown emirates ultra long haul for several years now on my way to Manchester and back from Sydney and I can honestly say never had any really terrible experience. Been very lucky to get the odd business class upgrade via points or the last min extra cash offer. I personally think the best business class seat on emirates I think its 23K. Its the 1st window seats in the rear seperate section cabin that only has about 6 rows..I'm sure they are a bit more roomy and seems alot more private as have a bulkhead right in front.
I recently flew Qantas business for long haul and I must say they’re amazing. They clearly know what long haul flying is, they just get it! Great review as always Dennis!
Nice review on the Emirates A380. Sorry to tell you that it was not a single malt whiskey but a pot still Jameson you were served. Keep up the fab reviews
Great review as always Dennis! Having been on EK Business Class on A380 on BOM-DXB and DXB-YYZ this is one of my fav Business Class cabins in the skies! Flew 241/242 as recently as Sep last year, 14 hours felt like 14 mins! Hope you enjoyed your flight to MEL! Any plans to visit Mumbai anytime soon?
Great vidoe as always. Lucky enough to have tried both Emirates and Qatar from London to Australia and NZ. They are both amazing airlines and I would v v happily fly either. Food is better on Qatar and wine better on Emirates. Love the Emirates bar on the 17 hours from Auckland to Doha; helps pass the time. When on top of their game, Qatar is a slightly better and more personal service, but dine on demand can cause the sytem to break down a bit if they get overwhelmed. First world problems; if you get the chance on either, go for it !
Great quality video as always Dennis. Never flown them at all sadly but being the avgeek I am have seen lots of videos and pictures and yeah I never got the mini bar either. As a Pepsi lover I always wondered was it cold? And yeah no one wants warm Pepsi and if you need to ask for ice you middas well just ask for the drink. Not like you got an ice machine in your seat!
Thank you for such a beautiful video. We have flown the Emirates A380...but only in economy it's amazing. This summer it will be their 777...again in economy...but no complaints feel lucky to take my family on holidays. But still...one day i would love to have this experience. Thanks again greetings from the Netherlands....( by the way...your name sounds quite Dutch😉👍)
The Emirates A380 is fantastic. I have flown twice in business. In 12 weeks I am flying the 777 in business with my wife. I know it’s not as good but we have 2 seats on the side so probably ok and I’m still looking forward to it.
I had a fantastic experience on Qatar last year between Singapore and Paris. Was trying to book Qatar for another visit later this year but was so frustrated with the technical glitches. When I finally got through to the payment page, my friend, who was trying to make the same booking had her price raised by around $1k. That was insane! So, we are starting over with the flight searches again, and are also looking at Emirates in view of the frustrating booking experience with Qatar. Thanks to your review, we might just go ahead with EK
"A handle for those of you who are straining" we old-timers call them thrutching bars, you grab one in each hand and thrutch, "bog" standard airline toilet. You owe me a laptop - I sprayed my beer over it!
We flew Emirates business class Singapore to London August 2023 on the A380. While the hard product was great, the service was a big letdown. Cabin crew always seemed rushed, no welcome drink and the meal service painfully slow (seats behind us and ahead of us were all receiving their meals). Cabin crew were not making eye contact when i tried to signal them to ask where our meals were ( our meal choices were straight from the menu and not special requirements). When the meals were finally delivered they were quickly placed on the tray table and she was gone before i could even ask for a wine to enjoy my meal with. Perhaps if i fly emirates again i should say I'm a youtuber as they always seem to get the service i didn't get.
Hi Dennis , the wife and i are flying business class A380 in August 2025 from Adelaide to Amsterdam with Emirates. Love the review just one question, there are quite a few people on other reviews complaining that the cabin was either too hot or too cold. Just wondering how you found the temperature...cheers Steve
@@vacateistheword Mate… it was great… being able the stand around n chart.., there were really comfortable bench chairs around the outer wall…, and crew were happy to serve up whatever.. I don’t drink.. but wife was trying a few whiskey.. one was like &800 USD a bottle..👍 That’s flying.., but the plane was empty.., not sure on a busy fly
I have flown Emirates business on the A380 from Brisbane - Manchester via Dubai and return. As you say it is a sensational flight and in my opinion they offer best product. Wouldn't fly any other way. I agree dine on demand would be better but its certainly not a deal breaker.
For those of you who are straining actually made me laugh out loud! Great review - it's a hard call between EK380 and QR QSuite... often comes down to the crew on the day I think... although the EK bar is superb, especially this newer one!
Flying it in Nov JFK to Dubai on the way to the Maldives. Cant wait to have a drink at the bar! Unfortunate part is it's an all day flight for me so not sure I will be able to take advantage of the lay flat seats to get some sleep...but that's what the next leg of the trip is for I guess.
Have travelled to Australia and to New Zealand to visit our son on Emirates great service in BC and having the .limo collect and return to home from Birmingham is a real bonus, travelled Qatar recently but only able to travel from LHR so involved O/N at Heathrow good service but Emirates still favourite, but price increase on BC this year is now excessive.
Amazing video once again Dennis, been watching your stuff for years. Just some feedback given you've done this for so long and have done some of the same airlines again and again, would be nice to get some specific comparisons if possible, something like "Emirates A380 business had this in 2016 but doesn't have it anymore, but have improved this". I did like the fact you mentioned the pyjamas they're introducing soon.
The meze always disappoints. Icy cold, almost flavourless, commercial dips that probably came from a 20kg bucket. Stale, also ice cold, bread. Your local kebab shop is almost certainly better quality.
Great review as always! How about a review on Icelandair saga class (business)? I am planning a vacation to Iceland and 25+ year old 757 seems to be what they offer still. I don't even see any lie flat option from their entire fleet so I am concern about the 8 hours flight in the saga class seat. Plus this will give you an excuse to go to Iceland.
Here's a question. Just checked about the pyjama set for flights longer than 9 hours. Yes it's true from 1st Feb 2024. But my flight in April will be on two planes from Maldives to Dubai, then connecting to London. Total flight time will be 11 hours (4 + 7 respectively). Question is, will I get the pyjama set?
I wish they flew from Honolulu but oh well... we are stuck with Hawaiian air lol. Thanks for the great video that was so informative and well edited. Aloha from the big island of Hawai'i
Surprised you picked a seat in the last row, closest to the bar. Were there no other seats available at the time and did the noise and light not bother you?
I recently met one of the Bunnik Tour reps, Zoe, down in Perth. The way she introduced the company and emphasised how beneficial the company is for its customers made my determined to sell them to anyone interested in guided tours. New found respect for you guys.
No surprise, given the namesake. If these videos are any indication, they'd have my business any time I travel to Australia

We flew economy Emirates to Madrid via Dubai in 2022 in A380s. Very impressed! Great video - thanks Dennis.
Love that the handle was for those who strain. And not for helping one stand up. 😂😂😂
Love it Dennis!

Wonderful video as always Dennis. Always good choice of backing music too 👌
Loved the comment about the handles in the the bathroom, funny!
I was just waiting for a comment about the window lol
Best Sunday morning surprise = a new Dennis vid!
Hi Dennis, I’ve been watching your videos for years and appreciate the reviews, it’s oftener shaped my decision on which airline I’ll fly.
A video idea - could you do tier list rankings of various business/prem econ products? You could update these periodically.

I have flown suites, first and business on most carriers and in my opinion most value for money is in Qatars business class Q-suites!
This must have been a fantastic experience, I wish I was there with you!!
Dennis hilarious intro
As always a great vlog yes the seat should be next to the window not shoved in the aisle like some airlines do

Hi Steve,
The temperature in the business class cabin of an Emirates Airbus A380 is typically kept around 18-20°C (64-68°F).
The bar is the best…, we had a flight with 8 people in business…, spent 90% trip in the bar👍
Very inspiring, mate . I’m going to be flying business A380 mid April. Planning to do justice at the bar like you guys did .

Mate… it was great… being able the stand around n chart.., there were really comfortable bench chairs around the outer wall…, and crew were happy to serve up whatever.. I don’t drink.. but wife was trying a few whiskey.. one was like &800 USD a bottle..👍
That’s flying.., but the plane was empty.., not sure on a busy fly
I have flown Emirates business on the A380 from Brisbane - Manchester via Dubai and return. As you say it is a sensational flight and in my opinion they offer best product. Wouldn't fly any other way. I agree dine on demand would be better but its certainly not a deal breaker.
First sorts that out
Qatar QSuites also has dine on demand.
I enjoy your videos
Naturally, I tend to find that any airline that doesn't ban a passenger for critiques on its product to be the better one.
Great review mate! Subbed 👍
Love me some tipsy Dennis reviews :D
😂😂
I’d love to travel first/business one day. Do you travel economy? I’d love to see your reviews of that just as much.
I'm a A380 fan 😄 ✈
Yes great review - I really like biz on the newer A380’s but still sub par on their 777’s and no bar and those nasty 3 seats in the middle
Thank you Dennis.
The new seats look incredible. Does anyone know how many A380's have been refurbished so far?
Amazing video once again Dennis, been watching your stuff for years.
Just some feedback given you've done this for so long and have done some of the same airlines again and again, would be nice to get some specific comparisons if possible, something like "Emirates A380 business had this in 2016 but doesn't have it anymore, but have improved this". I did like the fact you mentioned the pyjamas they're introducing soon.
Thanks, that's a good suggestion. Emirates will have new business class on their A350s so hopefully can do it then.
the new cabin looks fantastic!
The meze always disappoints.
Icy cold, almost flavourless, commercial dips that probably came from a 20kg bucket. Stale, also ice cold, bread. Your local kebab shop is almost certainly better quality.
2-3-2 seating on the 777 is definitely a big letdown. And there’s no bar!
Make a video about Ethiad A380 ❤
I've got a couple of Etihad A380 videos on my channel from the pre-covid days. Business and First Class Apartments.
Love it so much
Great review as always!
Would love to visit Iceland - it's been on my list for many many years. When I do eventually go will definitely try to fly Icelandair. Enjoy the trip.
Great review mate 👍
Nice Emirates Flying Dennis Bunnik Travels
I wish they flew from Honolulu but oh well... we are stuck with Hawaiian air lol. Thanks for the great video that was so informative and well edited. Aloha from the big island of Hawai'i
Thanks! Would love to get back to Hawaii and explore in more detail one day.
Great video as always. Would love to fly Emirates someday, especially in an A380 with a bar!
Looks epic! Need to try this one day!
Surprised you picked a seat in the last row, closest to the bar. Were there no other seats available at the time and did the noise and light not bother you?
