- Jack finally getting some attention lol
Basically Jack had some trouble knowing what he wanted to do in life. He did a lot of stand up comedy / music gigs, but it wasn't a solid job and his Dad was a bit pushy for him to go to college lol But he was envious that Bella knew what she wanted to do, and while Jack had no idea if he really wanted to go to college, Diane really wanted to go but couldn't.
For people who've read How Deep Can I go, this would've been around the time of Diane's first relapse. Diane's seen a lot in this cuz Jack did worry a lot that he was the cause of her ED cuz of his jokes. The two also did a lot of musical stuff together so they're close XD
Kinda small vent through Jack cuz hahah I already dropped out of uni once and the choice of college has come up a bunch. And I know what I wanna do in life but some ppl do consider it a real job so yea

I like how in the end you still show Jack playing the piano. Even though he couldn’t make it big, he didn’t stop playing. I really don’t see that idea much in media (usually it’s a “choose one of the other” which is not true), and as an aspiring actress I really like that you put the “just because it’s not your career doesn’t mean you have to quit altogether” message.

This song is traumatic for me, I hate it with my entire soul. It brings me back to 2020-2021 during my anime alt phase that was more embarrasing than anything i have ever experienced. 2/10 reccomend, nothing good can come of it: toxic communities that make you suicidal, discord = discord predators and nights spent talking strangers out of suicide, anime is just not my thing at all, cosplay is a direct ticket to bullying, alt friends that are more alt than you means you feel inferior and try harder only to fail, setting yourself up for faliure in the future.

This is my two cents. It's going to be a fairly long read so feel free to pass by and have a good one.
I feel like this applies to pretty much anything that makes money for a single person or small group of individuals. Might question yourself doing things, wanting more, etc etc. But overall I don't think it's a bad thing to want to do well in your career/job when not everyone is able to do the same things in the same ways. In my perspective the idea that anyone should feel bad about where they are or the opportunities they get that others do not in my opinion shouldn't feel that way about it. It's not anyone's responsibility to take care of anyone outside of themselves unless they get together with someone and take on that extra layer. I work at a grocery store which is a pretty thankless job, but people need someone to do it at this time. Should that be the case? Nah, I don't think so. I don't think people should need to struggle to survive much less break their back because companies don't want to invest in infrastructural changes to make jobs easier on their employees whether that's providing all the tools that are needed to do the job or simply understanding the relationship between people doing these smaller cog in the wheel style jobs, that given certain opportunities they could do other things too. But I wouldn't personally feel envious over someone else's luck given it's the system in place that causes those situations to begin with. Maybe I don't understand because I'm on the lower income aspect of things. Maybe when you make a lot more money you feel different about it, and wonder just what you could change if you put your talent or desires into helping other people. But the root of the problem will always be there if you never pull it out. People will still be poor around the world even if you help families that need it, there's still going to be those people getting hurt because there's no place for them to go. Especially now with Covid. I feel like if there's anything that really needs to happen is we need to restructure society and create a place where people don't have to go hungry or get screwed just because they happened to have to stay home with their kids due to nannies, or being single, or etc. Because the way we do things is just on the borderline of "Oh this is hard work" and "If we had a better system most jobs would be easier."
If you can give money to people and feel good about doing so then do so. IF you can't, don't and don't feel bad about it because it was never your job to do so in the first place. Art is a creative expression in which an individual creates some type of entertainment piece that creates feelings that wouldn't exist without that person doing so. I think that's special. However the system could be changed, and we could have more artists, and entertainers, and people enjoying their life if we just actually got people that cared about that kind of stuff into the officers and the higher positions, but the very nature of those higher positions force people to not be those kind of people.
