Magic does better against Rodman than he did in Game 5, but even so he still had a much easier time without Rodman guarding him. It doesn't matter in the end as the Lakers win Game 7 for Magic and Kareem's final championship

As great of a talent Rodman was, people sometimes overlook his mental errors. Down the stretch of this game, his ill advised shot and sending magic to the line really hurt.

I think what Rodman was going for was a 2 for 1 since there was so little time left in the game and you have to remember that the 3 point shot was not used as much back then as it is now.

Rodman was at his second year in nba ...he played ball only since he was 20 . Experience is really important

In my opinion - the 1988 NBA Finals in terms of competitive atmosphere was the best NBA Finals ever.

Whoever posted this video definitely did not see this game in 1988. The reason why Rodman was not guarding Magic a lot in this game was because Joe D was the man assigned to Magic. Rodman blew his cover in this game. He was supposed to stop Worthy. Big Game James had triple double in this game.

If Isiah didn't get that injury I think they win that series in 7. Then Magic got injured the following year and Detroit ran away with it.
