Not gonna lie, I came here because back in the day I used to play Chaos MAX Blue-Eyes with the Drytron engine and wanted to see if it was still a thing after half a year. It never was competitive, but I liked it. What you're running looks super fun, though. The videos are presented greatly too. I'm gonna try this out. Thanks a bunch
Hey Logan, was wondering if you would ever consider adding one copy each of the mikanko ritual monsters in a herald of perfection + chaos max build. They are fairies so they can be searched from benten and along with arahime being able to add itself back to the hand by attaching it to a monster on the field for a bounce, the normal 2 card combo could end on around 3 fairies in hand if you go for pure perfection line. Arahime adding back to hand is also nice because it guarantees that you have follow up for the next turn without having to worry about what you draw.
@@LoganJYA I tried seeing how far I could take the combo with just alpha + zeta. I will admit that the combo can be bricky but, I also think it provides so much extra power to the final board at least for game 1 when you arent really sure what you are facing yet. For the Pain Skip combo, could you show how to loop it, if that's even possible? I know an on-field Pain can be looped every turn with Gamma and Meteonis, but Gryphon looks like it's a one-off trick. If it cant be looped, whats the best follow-up with just the cards put in play?
Depends on the matchup and the build, try not to cut into engine too much, sometimes makes sense to cut win cons (like if you play perfection/max, side out dawn, perfection and choju for going 2nd cards) all depends
How the hell do tier UA-camrs not put us in tier 1 with multiple tops on ygodeck recently and knowledge that we have searchable feather storm. Then turn around and rate tri sprite which can't search storm and superheavy (lol) as tier 1 decks. Me and my boy are the bane of our locals with Drytron. I play pure spright variants, runick naturia/spright and control runcik, im building purrely and Drytron is my best deck. I searched kurikara with where arf and ate a Noir this morning and dude scooped.

I’ve actually tried this! It’s mid because the spells are bricky, but might be with revisiting

Completely forgot about the Aqua dolphin. Might have to grab me a playset of those and keep Chaos Max locking 😎
I think trap track is also a good trap by tributing a monster to set a normal trap and it can be activated that turn it’s set

Please let me know if I’m wrong but I thought since zeta and alpha adds you a card we are not able to even summon them under lock bird?
The searching part of the effect is optional so you can still activate the effects and special summon under droll
