Eh I had to film this twice and forgot lions... But its still a helpful guide if your looking to grow your animal follower collection and gain some cool pets. From buying eggs and getting giant horns, to Saber cat cub locations, this guide shows you a bunch of stuff, just not lions cubs! or Gazelle..

I use my animals for moving my base and when im doing a huge resource collection, specifically the elephants and rhinos
elephents they are much easier to get than a decent bearer and much more durable than gazelle.
a greater bear given Vitality diet with some good perk luck can make an amazing tank. took out the redmother with a a single one ov these. Jaladan ate through three stacks ov food but she did it!
take Warparty. add another pet to complement a heavy tank.
Cats are popular for thier pounce. they add bleed. turn off Irritate and let the bear draw the attention while Kitty does the damage.
QueenLoctus have bad hp but ok armor. they have a poison that stacks in twos. one goes to 10 one to 3. anything that survives Bear while Loctus poisions takes 64+ damage a second ontop ov smashing. Turn off Irritate and be ready to reposition your pets
Cant go wrong with Bear on Bear. thier pounce knocks things down. chips damage and clears a small area ov the battle field better than a Mace or Greatsword Thrall. they usually end up out ov combat. if you play a hit and run tactic you can solo any dungeon with a Bear and _____.

the surge stone heart also gives off black warmaker yeti as well but its a 10% instead of 25% like the other hearts. if ya didnt know i hope it helps if ya did then ignore it please lmao

There a Guranteed spawn location for the crocodile younglings in the area by howler’s lode(i would like to say F7) Theres a Crocodile guarding a nest, around her are roughly 6-10 younglings.

you have a guaranteed spawn location of 3-5 wolf cubs at G8 at the end of the left river there

I just found out about shadespice yesterday and got a greater bear.
You can also justn capture some bear and sabre babies from Jeballs Sag's realm dungeon mind you.

And also it seems like like certain pets like the white tiger is nerfed because funcom messed up it's the same on PC i checked it does like 1 damage when it shouldn't be. Just wanted to let anybody know just in case they get dissapointed. This sucks but I'm still willing to play this game lul.

How can i revive dead animals?
unfortunately you cant. if you play on a modded server, the admins might have a way to replace for you. but it will always need to be releveled
Well I picked up the game for one last time I've played during day one for a hot minute then got back to it. But what made me pissed off and stopped playing is due to loosing my amazing bases twice now! I only play pve conflict I always check my base before I log off and for some damn reason I'd end up loosing them! I never block anything like dungeons ect I never troll yes one of my bases was pretty big but that's all I would have I never build bases all over the damn map I'll have like maybe one or two small outposts and that's it which they are just for teleporting or getting thralls. While I see bases all over the damn place from the same tribes and those bases are all pretty good sizes! Anyways if I lose my damn base one more time funcom ain't gonna have a fun time I know for a fact they wiped my damn bases. Some of us didn't pay for game and all the dlcs and getting passes just to get trolled by the damn devs! Anyways besides the trolls the sad thing is I've enjoyed playing Conan I love building minding my own business I normally build castles based on Vlad dracula. But anyways I think I'll like what they did for age of war. I do think the rhinos need an actual charged attack that definitely does a good amount of damage also the siege attack would be cool long as it's only 1st tier structures maybe tier 2 but not tier 3. Lmao did you just say butthole 😂.
a small question, is the blue color in the ui a hosav mod setting or is a vanilla setting, i'm too dumb to find it xD
i'm fairly sure its hosav. if you open inv and then see a customize UI button in lower right corner and options to change colour should be there

What animals are best for defending against a purge
all info is given with the understanding you will train them well and feed them properly. low level pets are fragile things and die easy. high level groomed through food bonus pets are much more valuable than the meta suggest.
GreatBears fed on Vitality and with food kept in thier inventory make great tanks.
i played a Zathite for RP a few times and had Purple Corrupted Spiderlings on platforms that spit sundering globs when set to 'Prioritize Range' squishy but they slow and sunder targets. add poison if pushed into melee and scuttle away when the help arrives. watch out for thier health the others spiders are not worth leveling up.
Cats add bleed. pounce is a knockdown/stun and move around alot making them decoys so the herd is thinned or spent chasing a cat instead ov attacking. HP is low so be ready to save a cat.
Wolves are good for damage. but thier hp is lower and attack can be interrupted easier.
i find Elephents get in the way. you sometimes get stuck in their legs/belly and have to wait for them to attack or move on thier own before you can get free. Not bad for a backpack untill you find a good Bearer. but watch out and dont get stuck.
SandLoctus have good attacks but are weak. they apply poison and once all stacks are applied thats close to 100 every tick. Watch thier hp and have some things to take damage. they are big so sometimes get in the way.
If you are not limited to lag/number ov base pets. Shellbacks are plentiful. Easy to raise and can take a decent punch. not enough on thier own but you can easily replace them when they fall... dont get attached to any with this strategy. when i did this i had Warparty. took one nooby turtle and another high level pet out on gathering trips.
Komodos/Salamaders make good damage outputs. thier bite/spit applys poison and they attack faster than Gaters. not a bad idea but not the sole plan. they cant fight off multi opponits and thier ai gets confused if surrounded. a GreaterKomodo/Salamander can take on most world bosses by its self. no points in authority.
Pets are good cause you dont have to cook for them. they usually all eat the same food and its 'cut and feed' for most things. thye are cheep cause you dont have to outfit them with good gear but once you get enough good gear to give to thralls they are noticably less powerful.
taht said... i still love Bear. Two GreaterBears fed on Vitality and with lucky perks (Vitality and Grit) can walk you through most dungeons and the Lost City. id play decoy and see how many Skeles i could be running from while Bear and Bear took out bosses.
So you can't breed in the game?
no and unless you get a greater, theyre not really worth it and will probably die if you take them out with you

what a waste of time, i went to that cave, i had 56 human hearts, and all i got was potions and nothing else. no animals. thx allot
im sorry for your loss but im fairly sure i put in like 200 hearts in this video and only got a few things from it. so I believe its thanks a lot Funcom. :)
Anyone know what food you use to tame a hare , I was running past a hare and tried to pick it up and it's sitting in my small animal pen but I've tried heaps , berries fiber bark vines , I even tried meat but it won't tame
One of the UA-camrs I watch, Pixelcave, thinks it’s a twitch drop for Easter in April.
Thw Wiki says you need savory fodder to tame one, which is indeed a Twitch drop. I have one, too, and nothing I'vev tried worked, so..Maybe that's it?
