What a treat! Loved seeing your mobile stitching studio and learning a bit about your stitching history. Much like you, I am out the door every chance I get and ready for the next adventure! Just subscribed, so will enjoy seeing more of your videos.
Oh my gosh. I have that same metallic pattern board from the old days! Ha! I’m a newly returning stitcher after years off and just pulled out my pattern board last night. 😊
You are definitely a natural. I’m a retired educator also and found cross stitch a great way to clear my mind after a hectic week. I remember filling my bobbin boxes when DMC was 5/1.00 back many years ago. I have 2 magnetic boards like that and use them all the time. Love your finishes. Can’t wait for your next episode. 💕
I remember those 10¢ threads too! I just found some of those magnetic boards at a local thrift shop. Great video, and I am jealous of your stitchy space. I would love that!!! Subscribed and following!

Loved your vintage camper. Perfect place to stitch and relax. I have that metal board, bought it sometime in the 1980's mabe?? I had stop cross stitching for awhile but now I'm back into it, and I have alot of old things that are still working so way change them. Have the same DMC floss card you have. Lol. Happy stitching!
You had me at "she shed" and you sealed the deal talking about Lindy Stitches. You would also enjoy Misty Purcell's channel and her designs (Luminous Fiber Arts). I love that you are sharing more than cross stitch as many of us also love anything to do with a needle (and sewing machine). I'm really looking forward to future videos. However, I laughed when you said you only had 2 wips as you worked on very few projects at a time. Java Girl said that in her first video and look at her now! She also has a wonderful she-shed for her stitchy space. The rest of us can only dream.
I appreciate your comments. I’ll have to check out Java Girl because I don’t watch her. There are so many to choose from!!! Means a lot that you took the time to watch mine. ❤
Great job on your flosstube channel. I love my LoRan board, too, for paper patterns. Mine is pretty bent up in the corners but it will last forever. I do most of patterns on pattern keeper but I will never get rid of my board. Nice stitching shack.
I loved your flosstube. Your little camper is adorable. I love the fabric you used in it. Can you share where you purchased it. I will be looking forward to your next video.
Thank you so much! I’d love to share info. I bought the curtain fabric from Spoonflower. Pricey but I loved it too much not to get exactly what I wanted. The cushion fabric was from JoAnns.
Thanks for this video! I too have the magnetic board I have had for years! Love, love the She-Shed!! Subscribing now! Love shorter videos. You say a lot in a short period of time! Really appreciated.
What a great first flosstube Cindy! I enjoyed seeing all of your projects and haul. I tend to gather more than I can stitch too! What a great stitching spot you have; I would love a vintage trailer...my husband and I have tent camped for 37 years and it would be nice to get up off the ground! In fact I checked out your other channel... I was totally fascinated by both of your campers and your husband's review of the Dickinson heater...that is nifty for cold weather camping! We're outdoors people too, camp, ski, kayak. Live next door in NW Ohio (Findlay), so maybe we'll meet someday at a retreat or on the trails! We have a needlework shop here called The Craft Gallery...so you could come over and camp & shop. Look forward to your next videos - Anne
Anne, just read your comment and Sam and I talked about coming over. I’d love to see your shop! Mixing stitching and camping is the perfect combination. Can you recommend a camp spot?
I actually watched your second video before watching this one. I’m so happy you are going to include other needle and thread projects. I’m actually a quilter but I love everything that involves needle and thread ❤ I’ve actually just ordered the supplies to do EPP so I’m so glad you will be sharing some about that. I’ve enjoyed both your videos I’ve seen.
Hi Cindy! Thanks for the fun video. Enjoyed the tour of the camper. I knew you had to have been a teacher - you seemed so comfortable speaking and entertaining your audience. I am from a family of teachers and even though my degree is in social work & art, I always end up teaching in everything I do. I have the pineberry lane “Little shamrocks” chart. I’ve done one with modifications and hope to do more. It is so cute. I also have the SnowBall by Brenda Gervais and have done a couple of those. She has a st. Patty’s day chart in the same style as the snowball and that is adorable as well. Parson Brown (notforgotten) and the Brenda gervais “frosty” and “snowbirds” snow couple are on my wish list as well. You mentioned the quilt from your grandmother - I feel really lucky to have one from my grandmother as well. I just caught your Cranberry Bog road trip video. I’m in Chicagoland so I will have to add that to my list of places to visit. Thanks for taking the time to take some video of that shop to share. Happy stitching ! Sara (aka Janesays8 on IG and Windy City stitchers on FlossTube)
Sara, I’ll check out your channel. Thanks for letting me know. There are so many to choose from so it means a lot that you took the time to watch mine. My next video talks about how great it is that there are so many styles to choose from (something for everyone). 😃 Social workers are over worked and under paid. Bless you!
You look like my cousin Cindy. My grandma (Dorothy Simmons) had 15 grandkids. I have one of her quilts. When you mentioned southern Indiana which is where I grew up. Are you MY cousin Cindy??? (btw my name is Lisa (Simmons) Martin
Yes! We are dropping another video tomorrow and it will be at the bottom of that video also. But if you search UA-cam for Jess Oklaroots vinyl project bag, it will pop up. I believe it says Sew Pink because it’s in support of breast cancer research.
What is the name of the pink xstitch organizer that you can use to prop up pattern etc. Tried to find on amazon....no luck Thank you! Loved your floss tube show😁
Congratulations on your first FlossTube video! You did a great job. Going forward please be careful with showing charts. You are at risk of being tagged for copyright infringement. You cannot show the chart. If it is a freebie chart, you can show it from far away from the camera.
New subscriber here, and I have a camping channel also, in addition to this needlecraft channel! I found out about your channel from an Instagram post by Cranberry Bog Cottage. Once I saw that vintage camper photo, I came right over! I have a 1987 Cadet, originating from Poland,(the camper) and I camp with 4 different vintage camper groups. I've owned many, and renovated a few. Nothing down to the frame though. I also do punch needle and wool applique, so I think I'm really going to enjoy your channel. Blessings~ Doreen p.s. My other channel is called Camping Therapy. I'll check out your camping channel also.
Doreen, thanks for taking the time to watch and comment. Have you ever gone to the vintage camper museum in Elkhart? I think you’d love it. Takes about an hour and a half to go through and is vintage camper heaven.

Cindy, this is great, love it, you are so talented!
You are very sweet! Thanks for the kind words. I really appreciate the support.
You did such a great job!! I’ll be tuning in!! Keep up the good work. Love your she-shed!!
Thanks! I love it too. I’m very blessed!
Great first flosstube ! I subscribed 💕🧵
THANK YOU! I really appreciate the viewing and comments. Hope you’ll continue to watch.
Loved your first video. Great job DH!
Thank you for watching and I hope you’ll come back. 😊
Love your utube. I also quilt and used to do cross stitch and want to get back into it. You have motivated me!! Good luck with your new endeavor!!
Thanks Brenda, I’m having fun doing it and I hope it inspires!
Great job on your flosstube channel. I love my LoRan board, too, for paper patterns. Mine is pretty bent up in the corners but it will last forever. I do most of patterns on pattern keeper but I will never get rid of my board. Nice stitching shack.
I love your name outdoorsy stitcher! I’ve been so impressed with everyone’s clever names. Thanks very much for watching.
Enjoyed your first video! I have the same magnetic board and still use it too! I believe it came from Joann Fabrics. You have a cute mobile she shed 😊
Does yours look like it’s been run over too? 😄 some days I look the same way and we keep on plugging along. Thanks for watching. I appreciate it!
Thank you! I sure don’t want to bore anyone! Thanks for watching and subscribing! Appreciate it!!
You are not boring at all. If I had more time, I would like longer videos.
Thank you! I really appreciate your watching. I will definitely include more than cross stitch. So much to share! 😊
YES!!!! I’m your cousin!!!! This is too funny!! Hi Lisa!
what a small world. I LOVE cross stitch. I've been obsessed for about 4 years with it,
Hi Cindy. Welcome to flosstube. Would you share the link to the project bag tutorial?
Yes! We are dropping another video tomorrow and it will be at the bottom of that video also. But if you search UA-cam for Jess Oklaroots vinyl project bag, it will pop up. I believe it says Sew Pink because it’s in support of breast cancer research.
Just a gentle thought--your may not want to show the charted design. Love your channel!
I sure made a mistake of doing that. Thanks for being nice about telling me. Hope you’ll continue to watch.
I have a similar board to use with magnets and cross stitch charts. Mine is at least 30 yrs. Old
Vintage is where it’s at! Thank you for watching ❤
What is the name of the pink xstitch organizer that you can use to prop up pattern etc. Tried to find on amazon....no luck
Thank you!
Loved your floss tube show😁
MoKo tablet pillow stand. I tried to send the link but it wouldn’t copy. If you can’t find it, email me and we will try again. Good luck 👍🏼
Congratulations on your first FlossTube video! You did a great job. Going forward please be careful with showing charts. You are at risk of being tagged for copyright infringement. You cannot show the chart. If it is a freebie chart, you can show it from far away from the camera.
I sure goofed when I did that. I didn’t even think of that. Thanks for letting me know in such a nice way. 😢
Blessings~ Doreen
@@cindysadventuresinstitching that's one place that I hope to go someday. I've seen many videos of it.
