So I wanted to come back here and leave a comment after my first couple hours in game. Just picked the game up yesterday! I absolutely love the game! If you have that horror itch and want eye candy at the same time this is it! I’m glad to support you on this! Never played the first one but I was bored wanting something different so I browsed around and found this one. Was gonna pick up Star Wars outlaws or black ops 6 but I’m glad I went with beyond Hanwell! Ppl like you need support from the community because it’s clear that if you have the time and resources to put in you will continue to improve on every aspect of the game! I did watch videos on the first one. Do you have plans on continuing this series??? Or do you have plans for any other games? I’d like to know! Good job! Hope more ppl stumble across this gem!
Ooh I enjoyed Welcome to Hanwell & I have no doubt this’ll be even better just judging by this trailer. Looks like I’ve found my Xmas game for my week off….. when the kids have gone bed obviously.
In fact... thats what it needs, more enemies with none identical models with more complex hit patterns. Right now it almost feels like the anomolies all look and fight the same.
About the game... honestly its not everyday i get to shoot my greatest fears in the face like holy crap, i just wish i could execute them with a finisher or somthing lmao. But don't get me wrong its still nerve wrecking. It makes me forget how to fight at times when it comes to new enemies.
Is there by anychance a future DLC Expansion like I don't know... more anomaly buildings to explore, new weapons, new enemies, and probably add some new combat animations... maybe a dodging dynamic
I have the game on PS5. I had been enjoying but I just encountered a game breaking glitch. I finished the ministry of truth and received the blueprints for sample 42. I then left back to Westminster via the elevator in the lab but decided to go back into the ministry because I wanted to get some more collectibles. Then when I tried to leave via the lobby front doors, they would not open. So I was like ok well I’ll just go through the same pathway and leave through the lab. Well I went to the lab to exit and then I received the “there is a blueprint somewhere you should find.” I looked at the table and it is most definitely not there anymore to pick up still. So I can’t leave through the elevator anymore nor the front door, so I’m essentially stuck. Please patch this as it’s a pretty big bug to have in a game. If you fix it so the front doors will open from the inside or it would stop saying you need to get the blueprints then I should be able to get out I think. I’m not ok starting the game over with how far I have gotten in it. I was really liking this game and it would be disappointing if I didn’t get to finish it.
Great job to the devs. They took welcome to hanwell and made so much progress with this one. Hopefully it’s a trilogy 🙏 atmosphere and level design is great. A bit more enemy variety and extra polish to combat. I won’t spoil anything but some of the enemy designs are sick.
I love this game so much. It needs an update though because on Xbox Series X it walks and aims by itself without touching the controller can you please update and fix? Other than that the game is awesome.
Hi, thank you for the kind words. Sorry about the issue, I will need to increase the dead zone to accommodate stick drift. I'll try and get an update in the next couple of weeks, updates take a bit longer on console due to Microsofts cert procedure but I'll be as quick as I can! Thanks again!

I play it on Ps5. It is a great game, runs well and looks very good!!! All the things I miss in many so called "AAA" games!!!
