Got mine hooked up today and grabbed a 13-10mm reducer which come in elbows or straight. Hooked that up to a short piece of hose pipe connecting into the system. Whats the point of the on off on the shower head? Mine doesnt seem to do anything.
hey Albert, I have 12v batteries in the canopy. Simple 12v from them through a fuse into a switch to operated the pump. You can do the same from your start battery. I can leave the pump on all the time as its pressure operated. Once the pump sees pressure it auto shuts off.. Its a 6ltr Kickass one
Hey Tim, Yup its more then sufficient. If your crank the shower to full pressure it cant reach the thermal cut out at 50c. I find 40c is the perfect temp and I did this in 3c outside temp and was super warm. No use going over 6ltr p/h pump for a hot shower as you just cant get the temp up unless you were to pre heat a water bucket and draw the water from that
Hey mate I'm pretty sure you've done it wrong. You put the tap thread on the "water output". Screw it onto the "water input" and then you can connect a hose straight on it 😅 The shower head should screw onto the output! I brought one (the unit itself) from facebook marketplace today without those components and just used a garden hose tap straight onto the "water input"!! Thank me later 😅👍
Really old vid. Working sensational for some time now. You won’t be disappointed. Do yourself a favour get the new style shower head, the chrome one is terrible. Cheers for the support 👍

Yeah the on off button on mine isnt really good hey.. It gets jammed and its really hard to flick the switch
How you end up wiring up the pump to your battery?

Couldn't you just use normal garden hose which the fittings look to be suitable for?
Actually i see, the fittings on the pump are different as opposed to the hose fitting?
Is the 6 litre an hour enough for an acceptable shower,
And when you turned it up and it came out quicker, does it hold a decent warm temperature?

Thanks for replying much appreciated
So, from a cold bucket you wont reacg the temp unless you cycle the water thru before?
I'm interested in this system... wondering if they fixed the pump connection problem... also that pump.seems pretty loud hey?
It is a little loud yeah.. I have it mounted in a undertray toolbox now so its ok
Nice review
Thank you sir.
I'm using it for my caravan can you all so plug it up to a hose connected to a tap
You sure can.
Why a 6litre pump when the system is rated to 8L/min? Did the temp e er reach 50'C?
Don't give up your day job.
