Justice Sector Measurement Talks Session III: Approaches to Assessing and Measuring Inclusive Rights-focused Judicial Programming
ABA ROLI's Justice Sector Measurement Talks engaged technical experts and justice sector practitioners - program designers, implementers, monitoring, evaluation, and learning specialists and donors - who design, implement, or conduct related monitoring and evaluation of international development programs in discussions on targeted aspects of measurement in justice sector reform programs. Measuring results and assessing success in judicial reform programs responds to the question, “to what extent is a program achieving judicial reform goals?” Inclusion of results measurement in judicial reform initiatives is essential to the development of effective programming.  Results measurement also helps to align programs with country development priorities and promotes accountability and learning.
This event focused on Approaches to Assessing and Measuring Inclusive Rights-focused Judicial Programming and included the following sessions: Taking Action Using Gender, Equity and Social Inclusion-based approaches to Justice Sector Programming; and Assessment of the Georgia High School of Justice’s Judicial Training on the Rights of the Child.
