Correction on Case play #3, a sub will only be allowed if the sub runs onto the field with his pants around his ankles yelling "Vandelay industries! Say Vandelay!!"

Case play #7 you said the correct answer is “b” but “a” flashed. I got distracted by that and had to rewatch that segment.

Case #6 - it would be batting out of order if one of the successive batters after Braun actually entered the box and that error was not corrected by anyone during his at bat OR after him reaching base by a defensive appeal. Since this is simply a case of another person batting in place of Braun and thus the order is intact, there is no problem.

"Wayne" Newman is a nice touch. I would also have accepted "Norman" Newman.

The “Norman” will always be “ Norm” sitting at a bar in Boston named “ Cheers.”

@@rayray4192 Norman is the name the farmer's daughter called him, so some believe that's his first name. however the claim is that the actress just mis-read "Newman" and said "Norman" by mistake and the producers either didn't notice or decided to leave it. The other possibility is that Newman gave her a fake name, because he's baller like that.

The problem with names superseding numbers is that the names are not commonly known, whereas numbers are. As an opposing coach, I don't know who Lloyd Braun and J Peterman are. These aren't my kids and I don't live in this town. Same for the umpires. Same for anyone else not intimately affiliated with that team. We only know that the order is supposed to be 22 - 4 - 7 - and so on. And we can all see and know the players' numbers, unlike their names.
I'm not saying this is wrong instruction. I just don't know how to apply the 11:00 conclusion to "go with the name." So, am I meant to ask each batter, "Hi, are you David Puddy? OK, great, thanks." I mean, I'm probably just going to be looking at the numbers, rather than conduct a little conversation to learn the players' names.

Yeah, it's not very helpful for those situation.
I will note that some lower levels of play for youth ages may require umpires to go with numbers and names or just numbers.
Obviously, the higher the level of play, the more people know the names of the players.
Also, the higher levels and leagues, would eventually find out if a team lied, and would probably lay down a pretty severe penalty such as a fine, suspension, and/or forfeit

No we’ve done player/DH before. This was specific to mechanics and signals.
But a new DH video is on the draft board. This video would be wayyyyy too long otherwise
