Thanks gentlemen. I've just been configuring apps, and app protection, but couldn't get the work profile working at all!
I set this up and I absolutely love it. Really helps taking your mind off of work at night or on the weekends. Also love the container solution here and how it keeps data separate from the personal profile. It's also possible in intune to block opening managed documents with unmanaged apps and vice versa or block taking screenshots of managed apps.
On thing I haven't gotten working though - and I don't actually know if it's possible or not - I managed to set up a configuration policy so that I need to enter my lockscreen pin to unlock the work profile. Is it also possible to do this via fingerprint? (I have unlocking by fingerprint set up for the lockscreen)
Is there anything (even on pipeline) to assign Required apps separately to fully managed work devices, and work profiles? It seems the 'Required' section lumps the 2 together. Would be nice to seperate them out
I had asked this question sometime ago in the reddit channel but got no reply. Was the ability to assign google managed apps via a policy set removed? This used to be an option however as of lately when creating a new policy set I get nothing in the list of available google managed apps. I get all other apps for iOS and Windows but not for Android. Assigning the apps deployment via groups as in this video works perfectly. Any idea if this is a new behavior or is it just me screwed something up? thank you very much for all the information. Have been following this channel from the very beginning.
Not able to set up work profile in realme 9 pro plus with Android 12
Have you guys played around with remote help yet? I have a personal device setup with work profile setup. I have the remote help app installed and ready to go but within intune the "new remote assistance session is greyed out" ( remote help is enabled globally on the tenant
Has anyone ran into issues with making the apps available from the managed Google play store.
The apps are set to be available to enrolled decides but nothing appears in the store.
If I set the app to required then it installs straight the way.

I have a user with an LG phone that refuses to see, and use Google apps to play a voicemail wav file attached to an Outlook email. I pushed out the MS AIP, which has worked for basically all other android users. Tried setting up vlc and\or mx player, and the user can install the app, but his phone just doesn't see them as avail. I tried to enter app exceptions (poss not quite right)... stumped, help! Lol

I have some lenovo tablets (android 10) that I enroll onto MS Intune as a single kiosk app, and I would like to switch it on/off automaticaly (close it during the night time) but I cannot see any way doing that. I must say in new to Intune but I want to be one of the best in the future :)

I'm trying to get play store apps to show up in corp google app store but nothing seem to be working. Although if I set an app to be mandatory installed on a device - it freakin works. Any ideas what to look for?
The only thing I can think of is Managed Google Play apps have links for greek store (company registered there) and I'm located in Ukraine but still I have all language settings set up to english

I have a question. I configured "work profile" and it works.
But if i switch to ''personal'' i can still login to a app with my Microsoft 365 account. How can i block users from login into apps like word or OneDrive outside the "work profile"?
I would create a conditional access policy which enforces only compliant devices are allowed to access M365.
Or create a MAM policy which manages just the office apps. No need for the device to be enrolled but you still maintain the control of the data

Just FYI, I can confirm the "Work Profile" Button it also works same way in the OnePlus, OS Version 11 (ONE plus Nord 10 5G to be exact)
What if a users downloads Microsoft outlook from the "normal" play store. Can they still add there work email account will they get a notification that that's only possible from the managed Microsoft outlook application in the work profile ?
Yes they can do that but it will not work if you disable "Mobile (Exchange ActiveSync)" in EXO Admin center. So basically you can force the user to have to use an enrolled and managed device to access Company resources.
There are App protection and conditional access policies as well where you can fine tune access to resources based on user groups, status of the devices (Compliant or not) etc. ..

Can you FORCE users to install and sign in to Intune Company Portal if they attempt to sign in to Outlook/Teams/etc. and block access from the Personal profile?

Am having trouble adding a work profile to an Android device Android 8.1.0. Anyone?
Let's say Android Enterprise personal device enrollment is blocked and users already have Outlook and OneDrive installed on their personal devices. What happens from a user perspective when personal device enrollment is enabled? Do the get prompted to install company portal and enroll? Do the previously installed apps disable themselves until the device is enrolled? Does nothing happen until company portal is installed and they go through enrollment?
I want to turn this on but afraid of the shitstorm it could cause if notifications start appearing on personal devices.
Personal device enrollment is entirely "opt-in" and relies on the end user downloading and configuring company portal. Previous apps will continue to work with Android work profiles as the AWP is actually just a walled off container that doesn't know anything about what's happening external to it.

Hey I finally found the guys I can ask a million dollar question.. do cloned, dual parellel accounts send out the same identifier to the developer? I'm using dualspace apps and parellel accounts 2accounts apps running 100 so accounts of this app Im playing.

Nope.
I've noticed the device will consume more battery with work profile on compared to when not turned on, but haven't noticed the difference between when it's configured and not
