Atmaca is the newest missile in NATO. It has all the bells and whisles of the modern guided missiles. It has 250+ km range, exact potential is not disclosed.

The French have never been very interested in the missile but the electronics had two different final attack modes. The Italian side preferred a ground sea parallel attack missile, the French preferred a swoop attack on the ground. There was an idea of providing new stealth specifications and improvements in the 1980s but the US preferred another missile Harpoon. What about the fairly recent Turkish missile, French engine TRI-40 and indigene KTJ-3200 good all’s.

for Turkish friends who read, Italy lost World War II and repudiates war. having said that, among the three forces, the naval force is the one with the most Italian prestige. This missile has been updated by mbda but it is not of much interest, but it is sufficient for the purpose. The defense of the Italian sea. Italy prefers defensive rather than offensive attitudes. Since the collapse of the Berlin Wall, something has begun to change, Italy participates in international missions. It seems that it is the idea of arming our drones and developing or acquiring cruise missiles but there are no funds for the latter. To be put on submarines and frigate fremm. So a change, the drones are there but for reconnaissance and defense, the ships as well but for a defensive attitude, now the acquisition of the cruise weapon system 🚢 could change the vision.
I heard Otomat shocked US Navy by penertrating their air defense system in a test,which means they detected it within a very short range and failed to intercept due to its terminal manuever ability.
Obviously ATMACA is a better system.

Brahmos hisdistan ve rus yapımı sesten 2.8 kat daha hızlı menzili 300km avantajı hem menzili fazla hemde hızlı ama bu ona dezavantaj sağlıyor radarda kolaylıkla görülür atmaca denize yakın gidiyor ve tubojet kullanıyor bu ona avantaj sağlıyor radar da kolay görülmüyor

ATMACA has weak EW defense capability, it's not in the same class as EXOCET or HARPOON. It's guidance system is not as sophisticated, either. Outside of Turkey only Algeria has ordered ATMACA.

What you said in your first comment is not correct.
Italy has been producing OTOMAT since 1977 but we update them.
The 1970s version was called OTOMAT mk.I(first generation cruise missile) with a range of 60km.
Then we moved on to the OTOMAT mk.2 Block 1, Block 2 and Block 3.
After we were developing the OTOMAT mk.3 Ulisse with the USA but the latter abandoned the project(but italy gained experience).
So in the 90s we switched to the Teseo OTOMAT Mk.2 Block IV or also called OTOMAT Mk.2/A.
Now we are switching to dual use OTOMAT mk.2 EVO or also called mk.2/E with more powerful electronic systems and range of 360km+(unspecified) for ASuW and 500km range tasks in deep strike mode.
