Awesome to see the bike put together, and still agree on the inside valve cover - "out of line" with it being yellow. Looking at it now, I would say black or maybe even the green color of the other side of the tank. the black definitely looks better than the yellow, though.
Too funny, I think it stands out either way but more so if they're not the same color. If my bike, I'd make them both black, but wouldn't complain about both yellow
Either black or yellow just do both. IMHO looks odd to have different colors. In the previous video about this rig you mentioned it’s going for something in the low thirties? Ural has come a long way since the 650cc days of $4995. 😉
I can see your point of the yellow line but now that you've swapped in the black cover I can't unsee the yellow right cover. If it was my bike I would keep two yellow covers for a "balance" reason..... cause thats the way I see boxer engines and have the factory paint the sidecar fender to the green.... not black. It looks like they were trying to save on paint. But I'm not a sidecar designer.... I just play one on TV.
Being entitled to an opinion, I will go a step further and say I cannot warm up to any of the recent high contrast colour combinations brought out by Ural. A very subjective affair.
I would want them both yellow, I thought it looked great.

Well thought out change - black looks much better!
It does look much better in the “not distracting” way 3:35
Nonetheless I would still want the yellow rocker box cover as well 😎👍
I would have left the yellow, but the black looks nice too. Nice rig someone will enjoy owning.
It is subjective but I believe it does look better with the black.... I would also give the new owner the yellow cover just in case !
You did a good job 👍

Go with black valve cover on hack side.

Nope…leave the yellow valve cover.

Call me crazy but wouldn’t it look cool if the cover on the side car was Green to match the rest of the bike.
Yes...
I would like two yellow valve cover, and that in my driveway!

I thought I was the only one to obsess so about color, lines, etc.
Both valve covers should be the same color.
Either way, that's gross
