When it comes to sponsors, I've found the best has been when the company has no requirements of me that are based on metrics like views. I've been blessed to work with a great local sponsor whose leadership team actually watch my videos and enjoy them. They said, "We'd like to work together. Just keep doing what you're doing." Great arrangement and I wish other brands would adopt that. Then again, that's long-term and forward thinking creator relationship building.

Real Question, creatively speaking, if you have ever gotten burned out, when you get to that stage or experience this, how do you find some channels/outlets to reset?
I don't believe in burnout. I believe in boredom. I work on something I really want to work on. I do other things, hobbies etc.

This is the most authentic video I’ve seen in this era of UA-cam. I have a significantly small and infrequent UA-cam channel myself. I cannot follow the “gurus” that say you need to grind and be consistent. I get that it’s a LOT of UA-cam creator’s “9to5” and a lot of others aspire to be that. But to me, this type of environment has drastically lowered the authenticity that this platform used to have in the mid 2000s and early to mid 2010s. I miss THAT UA-cam, and this video has reminded me of those days. I know I’ll eventually post more and more frequently, but ONLY when I am ready. I am thankful to have found your channel, and enjoy what I have seen and heard. Your personality is 💯 as it makes me feel something. That something that keeps me engaged in your content, and makes me actively listen to what you have to say. True and it could be they can no longer keep up the charade or found something better/more lucrative venture or using their accumulated wealth, experience or contacts to pursue something more aligned to their true self. We all in some form or another are doing things in the short-term that is a stepping stone to something better or are content with when we finally obtain it in the long-term.
Many start off with just a hobby and it becomes an income source or livelihood and those are the lucky few that can pull it off because those are the ones that dont see it as work because it began as a hobby. They get fulfilled daily by doing the thing they enjoy and can see it benefiting themselves, their family and others.
I enjoy your no nonsense approach and i respect the sincerity you convey in your videos.

UA-camrs enjoy creating content, but once they reach a certain level of success, it becomes more than just a passion and turns into a business. However, most people are not aware of this aspect at the beginning of their journey. Once you scale up, it means you have to worry about other areas as well. Then content creation takes a back seat to other important business tasks. That is the reality of being a content creator. Creators just want to create...!

We all have different personalities, depending on which social situation we are in. The way we act when we are together with close friends and having dinner with our grandparents are way different. Being in front of a camera is another of those situations.
Successful youtubers quitting have created other revenue streams. Less successful youtubers that quit, have found a more steady revenue stream. And when I say quit, then it may as well just mean uploading less and not having it as a main source of income.
