महंगाई भत्ता और महंगाई राहत में बढ़ोतरी 1 जनवरी 2024 से लागू होगी, जिससे 48.67 लाख केंद्रीय कर्मचारियों और 67.95 लाख पेंशनर्स को लाभ मिलेगा. 7th Pay Commission के तहत 1 जुलाई 2023 से प्रभावी महंगाई भत्ते में 4% का इजाफा किया गया था. सरकारी कर्मचारियों के अलावा गरीब परिवारों को भी तोहफा दिया गया है.
