Your pink and white plate is a soup bowl made in Staffordshire. I have several in same colour with different 1700s country pub scenes printed onto them.I use them for all-sorts good for mixed salads. Congrats on your new baby.😘 Lorna.
I completely understand your way of thinking. I was married 40years ago and I had all modern for a short while . After a bit everything looked dated so we started to visit charity shops and antique fairs, we replaced our modern home for a traditional one. We still have most of the things as it was much better made and good quality and it never goes out of fashion! Btw I also have the bowls in blue and white bought them a long time ago. I think they are the old style soup bowls they look nice on a dresser. Love hearing the baby x

Great finds! Wicker is better than plastic any day! And feels like country life 100 years ago. Great white jug, looks perfect condition. I found a similar green vase, bowl shape, in a charity shop, I put daffodils cut short, in it (mind out, they are poisonous). Great pink bowls, it's called Transferware I think. Those ones, maybe Welsh?.. (What's the mark on the underside?). I love 'Shelley' crockery (1930's). Aww, don't apologise for the baby! Rachel x
