When I listen to this song I think about the judgemental assholes in my school and the teachers who clearly think I don't care about school because I don't share much in class, when I have mild anxiety that makes it difficult to step out of my comfort zone and put my hand up to answer a question or something like that. But mostly, it's the judgemental assholes - mainly the boys - in my year who treat me and my friends like crap.
I know how u feel but it does get better in time I got judged by boys and the girls now my mates that I got in college is their for me no matter what just stay positive it comes out good in the end just keep ur head held high to people like that as it boars them then they will leave u alone x

Its not cool to compare yourself with others but I observe other people acting way worse than me, and when people decide to throw out their criticisms its much more often at me than at the people who are actually toxic. I’m getting out of that as quick as I can because anyone with flaws can be criticized. This was how I was feeling when I was a kid. My mother and stepfather, my classmates, everyone was always attacking me judging me for being someone I’m not, while I didn’t even know who I was, so I didn’t have anything I could fight back with. All I could do is just sit there and try to take it, while bitterly reflecting on how they could possibly accuse me of being all these horrible things, while I didn’t even know if I ever even was any of them. I know its supposed to be a breakup song but I vibe with it with a lot of the friends and family that i’ve been dealing with lately. Its not cool to compare yourself with others but I observe other people acting way worse than me, and when people decide to throw out their criticisms its much more often at me than at the people who are actually toxic. I’m getting out of that as quick as I can because anyone with flaws can be criticized. If someone criticizes my flaws and ignores other people’s flaws it is personal. “You think you know me, I’m leaving you lonely” whether they realize it or not, they’ll feel the loss when I’m not around and the toxic people still are.

I properly love Kelly Clarkson. Listening to her music, watching these music videos and casting my mind back to when I was growing up, makes me feel happy, young and special. She really does have everything. Seriously, I want whatever she's got. Her music has just got better and better with time.
What I mean by 'properly' is I'm a big fan of Kelly Clarkson and she's one of my heroes and idols.
I’m a guy and i also connect to this song. Sometimes you say one wrong thing or you overreact for a few days and your best friend forgets everything you ever were and only judges you on your actions. Judgement is a tool of destruction. Grace, forgiveness, and love wins every time.

I honestly think this is how I feel and wish I can tell this to my mom's face. She did raise me, but she will never understand and know who I really am. She thinks and acts like she knows me well, but honestly she doesn't. I hear this song and every time I do it just makes me wish I can tell her how I feel and what I think. I am older. I am 23 years old. I hope u are right though. my sister and I dont like how she is and things she says. We do love her a lot but she doesn't act like how a mother should. she calls us horrible names most of times, she takes her anger out on us, and she says she doesnt trust us and she says that we owe her so much when we have done so much for her. like I said she doesnt know me so it made me do things that am positive for my education and life and make those decisions behind her back. AM 23 years old and I am not still able to hold my own money. Even my bf doesnt like her. Been through so much with her. Use to get physically abuse. One day I will have enough courage to speak to her about how I feel when the time is right. But i know the conversation well turn into a argument. So that scares me. This song is amazing!!! I just figured something out and I hope I'm right. I think that she's actually singing about tabloids! if you look even at the start there are newspapers in the background talking about her. After that she's looking at videos of herself and reading comments. Something that really made me think this is at one point in the song she is looking at a gossip page about her. I might be wrong or this might have been something that people have known for a while, IDK. Anyway, more importantly, great job Kelly Clarkson, you're awesome!!!!
