i watched it all, just amazing, thanks a lot for the video that was really helpful, i was a bit scared to do solo trekking in December, but you encouraged me, i am flying tomorrow to Kathmandu, and after couple of days to Lukla, Wish me luck.
We shared the same nervousness before embarking to the adventure. I pray you'll be able to finish the trek and create one of the most memorable time of your life. Good luck and god bless your journey. Namaste.
Thank you for posting this wonderful video. Our son is trekking as we speak (December) and it has been fantastic to follow him through watching your trek…so many similarities. What a stunning part of the world and we are so grateful that you recorded your amazing adventure and shared so many insights…we are envious! 🙏🏼
Thank you for watching and sharing your kind words. I pray your son get to experience the trek as much as i did. I'm glad that the video did some favor for you guys as well. Cheers and have a nice day!
Amazing video. I am obsessed with Mount Everest and it was so fun to watch your journey! I would be so scared to do it alone so you are very courageous in my eyes.. cheers from Texas 😊
Thank you for your kind words. I was all afraid before starting the journey as well, but I guess I committed to my training plan and research ahead of my journey. It is one of the great adventures. I hope you can experience the trek soon as well.
Wow 😮 what a mesmerising breathtaking sceneries and landscapes, those tea houses are so lovely. I always wanted to visit Nepal, very nice video, Thank you ❤️🙏- from Japan
Thank you for watching the videos, i love Japan as well. I was in Tokyo a few years back, hopefully to come again to do some adventure trek and hike Mt Fuji.
At first glance, 2 hours 42 minutes! This video is very longgg. But after I started watching, I went to the end. I feel like I was walking with you to EBC. I love your video. I'm planning this trip as well, probably at the end of this year. Your video made me think of going there off-season. It looks so calm and peaceful.
Absolutely a beautiful video. I'm in the information stage of my 2025 Nov base camp trek. Thank you for taking us along. Lots of great information in this video.
@@AmazingSabah What I really appreciate while watching your video is that it feels like I am walking on the trail. I really appreciate everything about your video!!
Watched your entire video with pleasure. So good the trek was not overcrowded due to early winter, so you could feel the Himalayas and enjoy your way to EBC. Thanks for sharing and good luck ahead
I agree that during peak season, the trek will be overwhelmed by fellow trekkers from all over the world. During the off-season, the trek will be less crowded, but the temperature is a bit challenging. Proper preparation is crucial, especially if you plan to do it solo. Thank you for watching and for your positive comment. Good luck on your adventure as well.
At 1:29:21 you point at Tengboche, but in the middle of the frame is Phortse and the east facing slope where there is a much more spectacular High Scenic Trail between Phortse and upper Pangpoche. People should walk this high trail on the way up, not twice through Tengboche. At 1:34:44 you arrive at the intersection where you should have chosen the Gokyo trail leading to Mong La viewpoint and then to Phortse, then to the high Pangpoche trail. Not the normal Tengboche trail, idiotic to walk the same trail twice.
Thank you for sharimg this amazing video. Maybe one day I will also make the treaking to Evereat base camp. The video that you shared is very useful to get an idea about the treking. All the best.
Thank you so much for watching and following my ebc solo trek journey. Thank you for your kind words as well.Do let me know if you had any inquiries regarding the trek. I will be happy to share what i learnt. Thank you and have a great day!
beautiful. i wasworried of doing a solo trek. but after watching your trip i am confident to do it. how did u navigate through the trek ? was it easy to identify the trek? since gps wont work there at high altitude
You can try using maps.me, and make sure you can asked someone when you are not sure about the trek. The hardest part of the trek to navigate is between Gorakshep to EBC, it can get more challenging during snowy time. Always listen to your body. Oxymeter is a good way to help you check on your oxygen level from time to time
Congratulations bro,, nice view, mantap👍🏻🙌🏻. Btw bro another tracks Himalaya yg view cantik tapi mencabar antaranya track ABC (10th tallest mountain of 8k'ers m) dan track Mount Dhaulagiri (7th tallest mountain of 8k'ers m)
Thanks bro, this is just the videos combine from all the EBC episodes last time..i think its a good idea just to compile them all in one video.. I did ABC in March 2022 as well, hopefully i can comeback to Nepal again soon for some adventure..thank you for sharing the infos
@AmazingSabah That would be my go to meal as well! I do enjoy fried noodles too. What about your breakfasts? What do you like then? (I have not finished your video yet! I am saving it for a special relaxing time!)
Very nicely captured The whole journey/ good information for planning purpose/ Thank you for sharing/ was it snowing anywhere during Your trip? / from Norway😊
Hi Blair, i'm using gopro hero 8 and asus rog5s to document my journey..i also bring my sony rx10m4 but i had to admit that i didn't get to use it that much
@blairsayn2895 The stabilisation feature in gopro is really that good. Just make sure to upgrade the battery to Enduro to withstand the extreme cold. Thank you for your kind and positive words
Thanks for posting your trip , i am glad that you made it , i have heard some people say that in Off season December/January in the Higher up Tee houses , you can get your room free , if you eat Dinner and Breakfast there , did you try this ??
I didn't try to negotiate about the room charge. In my opinion, the cost of the room is actually very affordable. It is the food that is getting much more expensive on the upper side of the trek. But hey, there is no harm in trying to negotiate, right?
Hi there! Thanks so much for sharing your incredible journey on UA-cam, the views were really breathtaking! May I ask if it's common for hikers to rent hiking gear from Kathmandu before proceeding on to trek the EBC?
Hello, thank you for your kind words. According to what i read online, yes it is actually possible to rent all trekking gear in Thamel, Kathmandu. I see a lot of people talking about Shona's alpine as a reliable place to rent or buy their gear but i personally never been there but you can definitely check them out once you are in Kathmandu.
@AmazingSabah Wow, that is still quite a long flight! I'm in Canada! The flight would be much longer from here! I was thinking about moving to a Tea House or better yet, get some tea going on my hot plate. For dinner, I had some (non Nak) cheese and pineapple pizza! (last night) I do love veggie fried rice with salted nuts on top!
@AmazingSabah I believe that! I have a problem with breakfast! I never know what to eat! (even at home)! Sometimes, I eat my left overs from dinner the night before! I think of eggs as an ingredient in cooking as opposed to a food on it's own. There are no Malaysian restaurants around here. We are getting an Asian grocery store soon so I will be shopping there, that's for sure!
