La Gendronnière is the Zen Buddhist temple founded by Master Taisen Deshimaru Roshi in 1979. Every year at the end of December a spiritual retreat (sesshin) takes place with an emphasis on meditation. The daily schedule includes rising at dawn, taking meals in silence, practising zazen and hearing teachings. The participants can therefore experience calm and silence. On New year’s eve, each practitioner is invited to sound the large bell of the temple and to make a wish for the New Year. Beginners are granted a special coaching

Zen Buddhism is the only religion of peace, it is also compatible with modern science, as meditation has proven to be beneficial for body and mind, may it spread throughout the world!

Buddhist thought is the truth when thinking about the universe and the human mind. Buddhism thought is acclaimed by many scientists and philosophers. Einstein,Heidegger,Nietzsche and HIdeki Yukawa.

Still conceptualizing, comparing and rating? The Buddha didn't engage in such activities.

Everyone watching this should look up the cult like practices exposed with AZI, which are not part of Zen at all. Roland Yech is not a Zen master in any sense and is not authorized to claim any such title. The claims about Deshimaru bringing Zen practice to Europe and setting up the first Zen temple are also provably false, as there were Zen teachers such as Ven. Myokyoni in the UK who had already done just this years earlier. Do your research and avoid this group.

I was part of the group in London. I never felt it was a "cult". The first zen temple in France is probably true. Anyway who cares? Roland Rech has been ordained, I think in Japan so there you are.
