Ian get a humble lawyer like Ngatia hawa wengine will make your case even worse why? Because all they know is confrontation and if you confront the state you will end up loosing. Secondly, should your lawyers confront the police, chances are, they will let the case dye and the judge will release you and the police will not oppose it but just bare in mind that that will be the begining of your troubles, ask those big thugs that the court let them free how they ended, ask about the terrorist suspect that was released by the court, immediately after the court set him free, he was abducted kwa street and has never been seen again, so if i was you i would find a humble lawyer who will plead with the police that you regret your action and that you just needed a second chance to show that you have reformed but if your confront the police hivi hivi watakuachilia and that will be the begining of your problems 101

That video should be played in court to rule out robbery with violence. He can be charged with assault and battery. Robbery with violence charge is miscarriage of justice by the prosecution, and the case won't go far. The boy should be granted bail.
