I love the Donabe. I have been using clay pots from the Chinese tradition and Japanese tradition for years…untraditionally. Great for making scalloped potatoes in the oven, Mac and cheese in the oven. Stove top soups. Heating leftovers in the oven in the smaller ones, especially left over burgers. Slowly frying brats in the little ones on stove top. Using the bottom part to hold a bamboo steamer on top. I’ve found you do not need to use high heat once the water boils (from tea kettle) and medium heat steams food just fine. I have done these things with all my donabe’s although it is not recommended. No problem. I don’t bake in the oven over 350 however. Fun presentation. Thank you.

Timely! I’m learning Japanese on Duolingo and there’s been a lot of nabe lately. Fuyu wa, yoku nabe o tabemasu.

If you're going to make a cooking video. Perhaps it would be a good idea to choose a knife you want the public to see or buy, talk about it, etc, otherwise ur just making soup, and I don't care about your soup. I care about your KNIVES!!!!
