Huge thunderstorms hit Cheltenham Gloucestershire UK (20/09/2024)

On the 20th September 2024 a thunderstorm developed south of London around the north of East Sussex. The storm moved slowly west and even dropped a tornado in Aldershot Hampshire causing T2 damage. These storms steadily tracked west, then took a turn to a northwestern direction, moving into Wiltshire, Oxfordshire and Gloucestershire, producing frequent lighting, continuous thunder, large hail and very heavy rain bringing flooding with them. Temperatures dropped under the storms, starting at around 21c, dropping to 14-15c. They gradually moved into Wales where they weakened and died off.
