Very curious why I used screws that showed like that? Probably just my tastes, but I don't like that look....I would have went with something that blends in with the decking boards.

Why did it take so long to do that for Dad. Sorry you took the easy way out instead of using exposed nails when the eco decking can be invisibly attached which looks a million dollars. All looks a heck of a lot better though. Thank you for doing the update. I'd like to know more about the roofing system too. And in addition to that, no handrails! Go back Jason ,please and design to show how to incorporate safety for an aging population. Dad will love it too.
Only thing... few of those bricks will need to remove the shelf to get em back out haha
