I like that they have her admitting she's angry. It makes her comments about him in TBBT make so much more sense. She's trapped in the anger stage and so bitter. It's quite sad, actually :(
She tells Sheldon on his wedding day that his father would be proud of him. She is not always angry but I do think that thinking about him Does hurt her since it’s easier to be angry for her. She may be laying the cheating stories as a way to warn Sheldon and Leonard about the dangers of cheating. A little bit of subliminal messaging.

It does make sense to be honest, we already know Sheldon's foreshadowing, Missy's foreshadowing is already showing and Georgie's foreshadowing is setting up.
Love this show so much. It was hard not to cry through this whole ending! I really hope that we get to see everyone in the family at some point in the new spinoff with Georgie and Mandy.
With the show going on with Georgie and Mandy the show has a ton of room to bring back all kinds of snips from other people. Including Mary, Missy, Sheldon, Memaw Page , Veronica. Even George senior as dreaming advice. The ending of YS was so amazing. I can see the spin off going places. The writers will need to bring it.
I will miss this show loved for many years begining to end will be dissapointed to not find it again its become a muscle memory to just expect to watch it on the same network and it always be there besides able to watch it on netflix ill miss this show sad to see it go but atleast theres an additional spinoff coming next fall

News flash - EVERY WIDOW or WIDOWER is pissed as all get out because their spouse died. (Can't vouch for other types of couples, but I am sure it is the same) You are as mad as possible at some point, double so if it was by that person's actions or inactions that they died. The show hit upon a universal truth here. Well done!
I kinda like it because by focusing on the other characters it shows how he was the glue that kept them together after his father’s death. He’s not the focus but his mom and siblings are. That’s the glue.
Some ppl don’t have a “reaction” when a loved one dies… they feel like they have to be “strong” for the ones who are trying to regulate their emotions…. It’s actually makes sense for his character too
It was an odd choice to deliberately have him not be present at that moment. I assumed there would have been kind of payoff at the beginning of the following episode, but nothing. All in all, I think the Funeral episode was 💯 in alignment with what Georgie said about things in the episode before Sheldon’s wedding.
When George Sr died, I totally cried my eyes out & with the funeral I was worse. When Sheldon came out in the insane outfit to be baptized for his mother I laughed so hard I was in tears. It was ABSOLUTELY HYSTERICAL, I thought it was GREAT, from one extreme emotion to the other.

Season 7 is the last season. Tonight were the last two episodes that were played back to back. I can't watch them until tomorrow because I watch them on Paramount Plus the day after.

I somehow came across snippets of YS & I love precocious children. LoL I loved this show laughing through out every episode except the last 3. I don't know how they could have done it differently letting us know George died without all the drama, but I hated it. The only good thing about this is I definitely am Not going to buy the DVD series whenever it's available. I get to save money at least. LoL

Why is Mee Maw acting surprised that her daughter used to smoke and drink, when she previously told her granddaughter that her daughter used to smoke and drink? 2:08 That's obviously not true. Sheldon saw her having sex with another man later on.
Connie isn't surprised that Mary smoked (tobacco) and drank. She was surprised that Mary smoked marijuana. And having sex with someone is not the same thing as finding someone like Connie did. The guy Mary slept with was not at the same level of intimacy as Dale was to Connie.
I imagine your mother has said the same thing about giving birth to you and watching you flop on this earth. You're no prize either so I don't see why you're complaining.

Stages of grief. Mary went from denial to anger fairly quickly. As a mom, she couldn't stay in denial. But Sheldon is a child-still in denial here & lingering in anger all throughout BBT. Ppl process differently.
