I mean IIRC you'd only get to hear snow, though I don't know if Tantal had Thundersnow, I'm pretty certain that they didn't, which exists but is rarely ever implemented into games given it already has a rare occurrence IRL. I can say that I have within the last few years experienced seeing the flash of lightning and sound of thunder during a snowstorm. But not at the frequency of that weather guy in the old viral video.
