    Excellent video! I'm 65 and grew up in Southern California my whole life and have now lived in Thailand 🇹🇭 for almost one year. From my experience Thailand reminds me of the freedoms l had in the 70's and 80's growing up. I feel young and full of energy living in Bangkok and traveling throughout the country. My money buys me triple of what I'm used to paying back in the states and it's true you feel no hostility or anger when out in public. I consider this place paradise and I have no intentions of going back 😊

    As a black man in his mid 40's and living in California, watching your videos has been such an inspiration and a breath of fresh air. America has turned into a trauma-laced sh*t hole and we've all lost touch on the basic fundamentals of humanity at the sacrifice of capitalism. If I was in my 20's and didn't have elderly parents that I had to be there for I'd definitely be exploring the opportunities that living in other countries offers. At the end of the day all I want is peace, good company and enough on my plate to be able to share with others. It sounds like you do too. Keep going my guy, I love to see this sh*t 🔥🔥💯💯

    As a Thai person, thank you for spreading the identity of Thai people to foreigners to understand us. Thailand is peaceful, polite, most people are good-natured, safe in life, good medical treatment, cheap living expenses. Try to go abroad. We have this culture in the whole country. You will be safe and happy in our country. We treat foreigners and people in the same nation as if they were relatives. Thank you.

    Been in Thailand since 2012. I can’t tell you how many times, til’ I’m blue in the face, I’ve told people to LEAVE the U.S. and go see something else. There is SO MUCH WORLD out there to see. Gotta leave your COMFORT ZONE, though. This gentleman is a prime example of what I’ve been telling people in the U.S. Also, he lives in BKK and once you get out of the big cities, it’s even CHEAPER! Thailand is just ONE of the MANY places where you can have a much enjoyable life, for a low cost.
    Keep doing your thing, brother. Love the perspectives!

    Things are so expensive in the states, that people's idea of fun is staying home, which is why they focus on a bigger house. In other countries, being able to get out and about on a daily basis allows a person to be comfortable having a small space because they're out living their life and so only need a place to sleep

    • @williamhartz8707
      @williamhartz8707 5 місяців тому +3

      I feel Americans are pressured to buy those big houses because that is all there is. I grew up in a 3 bedroom house with one bathroom and a single attached garage. Now, the new homes are twice the size with three bathrooms, a laundry room and a 3 car garage. Young families move into these new housing developments so their children can attend better schools. If you want to live in a smaller house built in the 1950’s or 1960’s it may be in a high crime area in most cities. You’re stuck buying one of those 450,000-550,000+ dollar houses. With monthly house and car payments you have no money left to go out in the evening.

    You are a very astute and clever young man. It’s not often that I sit listening to someone and agreeing with everything they say. I think people are starting to understand that less is more. Who needs a big house, flash car but spend most of your time stressed out and working to pay it off. Most people I know are in that situation but can’t get released from the mortgage/loans strangling them. I gave up a well paid job and moved to Bangkok. I have a lot less things now but am now stress free and happy. I’m glad you see it for what it is. You have so much freedom to change the course of your life when you have nothing than what you do at 40 when you have lots of things but are trapped and unhappy. I could go on and on but would just be repeating what you said. You are excellent at getting your points across clearly and concisely. Keep up the good work. PS. People find some American accents loud and overbearing and switch off but you have a nice soft accent which is easy to listen to. Don’t lose it!

I mean we still have healthcare and basic social security, but I don't think it will last long, usually we're like 10 years or so behind on murican dystopia things. I'm currently working my ass off, saving for my freedom budget. I'm 44 so I feel like I can't really do what you did, just go and see if it works out... I don't wanna go back tail between my legs, looking for a job at like 50 lol, it's all or nothing for me. Couldn’t agree with you more, man. You’re spot on. Us Americans are being exploited & extorted. Been in Thailand 30 days now & I enjoy this much more than the rat race & high cost of living in the US.

    10:24 Wow! You are saying the same thing some of my friends are saying. I was in Pattaya for 4 months last year and I definitely want to move back and live in Jomthein. I never felt the pressure of life there like I feel everyday here in the US. I can’t wait to move back and enjoy however much of my life I have left. Thanks for this video!!!

    Food, transportation, and housing are the three things most other countries spank the west in for being more affordable. Basically the top 3 expenses any adult has. Bolt and grab at most $5 a trip, rent $400, and food $200. Also cell phone bills and internet are usually cheaper everywhere else too

    Amen. I have 110% with you on just about every point. I am fortunate enough to have a remote job and no family to go out and realize my own "American Dream" abroad.

    I'm 28, I got tired of the hysteria here in America, I can't trust anyone anymore and they don't trust me. I said no more, saved some money, took some certification classes and found a job overseas and will be moving in September

    I’ve watched a few people try to articulate what you just said and no one has put it better 👏
    It’s a shame it’s taken a pandemic and extreme politics for us to recognise some of the issues. The only point I’d question is free healthcare. I know it’s done a lot better in other countries, but in the UK it’s an absolute shambles.
    Keep up the good work tho 👍

    Hi, i like your Videos and follow you since some days :) I am from Berlin, Germany so my english is not my motherlanguage and not the best. We have here in Europe the same Problems like what i see and know from the USA, more crime, higher Inflation and everything gets more and more expansive. The taxes rise and it does not feel healthy. I love Thailand, I was 5 times there for holidays and it felt everytime so peacefull and worth Living. I will also spend more time in the future in this wonderful Country and will go by end of the year (ca October) for 1 year there and I am excited to see what my heart will say after a longer time there :) Maybe we see us there :) Thank you for your impressions !!!
