- SO TODAY I DECIDED TO GO BACK TO MELBOURNE BRIDGE TO TRY ANOTHER DAY OF FISHING. I WAS ABLE TO PICK UP SOME SHRIMP WHICH I COULDN'T GET LAST WEEK . IT WAS A WINDY DAY SO VISIBILITY ON THE TOP OF THE WATER FOR BAIT WAS IMPOSSIBLE TO SEE ANYTHING. BLIND CASTING DID NOT TURN UP ANYTHING SO LIVE SHRIMP AND FROZEN SQUID IS ON THE MENU FOR TODAY. I CAUGHT A LOT OF DIFFERENT SPECIES OF FISH THIS DAY.
I like this spot because I’m out of the sun or rain but I catch nothing but catfish and puffers
@@josepadilla5033 you just have to hit it the right time of year. Also it helps to move around from spot to spot. One concrete piling might hold mango's while the others nothing.
Keep your bait as close to the pilings as you can. Big drum and shepshead can be caught too.
Thanks for watching and your comment.
Tight lines...
I've fished in Melbourne most of my life. If you bottom fish the river, especially with dead bait, you will catch catfish and occasionally a stingray. Stay off the bottom and it isn't so bad. I'm going to give this spot a try in a few hours. Thanks for the video!
Sounds great and thanks for watching and commenting.
Good luck on fishing. Let me know how you did.
Tight lines.......
The most realistic fishing video I've watched so far
Thank you so much for watching. So much more to come.
instablaster...
Buddy im in Melbourne and want to fish and have no idea were to go. I offer to pay bait and gas if ur wiling to go
John unfortunately I'm living on the west coast now but if I ever get over there soon I will give a shout out to you. Be happy to meet up.
I will be back Melbourne this Tuesday coming
@@OTRAL24 welcome back John. I hope the fishing will be good. Sheepshead and black drum are in the area. Use fiddler crabs around the pilings and live shrimp on a sweeper jig or a fish finder rig should do the job.
How long are you down for?
I'll be there for a couple weeks
Great spot during Spanish Mac sessions but I would go 3 pillars back...!
Can only fish with two rods at one time per person I believe...look it up to be safe
I checked with fwc. They say theres no limit on how many rods you can use from a pier. Thanks for your comments. Tight lines....
Awesome just subbed!
DAMN CATFISH!! Thanks for the vid, whats next?
Well I'm waiting on a boat. I sold my boat two months and looking for another. I'm recovering from a bad case of bronchitis now but im hoping to have a boat again by November. If so going to do some flounder fishing. Might do a trip to sebastian again in November or Dec.
Lots of good stuff coming up.
Thanks for checking the channel out.
Tight lines.
I used to go there all the time, but usually, night time because of my job. unfortunately, I've never caught anything but catfish there.... they just everywhere ...lol gonna try there in the morning next time. great video !!
Yeah I've only fished there two times but catfish are abundant but I have seen lots of other good eating fish from there.
Good luck and thanks for checking out my video.
I would have gotten the hell outta there, all those damn cats!
There is only 2 spots I know in Brevard Co to catch mangroves and no cats....good luck!
Thanks for your comments. I'll give that spot a try next time I'm there.
Love those mangs.
Tight lines....
I caught a big mackerel there 2 days ago on a silver spoon.
That was a sweet catch there. If your close to the coast nows a great time to surf fish for pompano. There definitely around. Thanks for watching appreciate your time.

nice video, can you tell me how to get there from Orlando, FL ? thanks
Eau Gallie Causeway bridge in Melbourne fl. It's under the bridge.
@@oceandeepfishing4555 thank you so much
@@luiscortes3925 your welcome. If you go share with me what you caught.
Good luck and tight lines.....
When your traveling over there coming from orlando you will have to cross the bridge going east and you will have to make a u turn and come back to the bridge. Parking will be on the right just before. If you have a wagon it's better cause it's a good hike carrying gear.
can you tell me the name of that bridge? thank you so much

It's Mangove Snapper NOT Mangos.
Lots of people call them mango's for short
And it's mangrove not mangove
Beg your parden but it's mangrove snapper if you want to be correct not mangove
Also lots of people call them mango's for short
