When I was in Amsterdam for vacation a little more than a year ago, me and my girlfriend decided to rent a bike and drive to Haarlem. We didn't know what for and I didn't really think anything there could have been worth it. But once we were there, we saw him performing in the middle of a very busy street, just using his voice and his guitar and I was amazed. We just stood there for what was like an hour, listening, until I had enough courage to ask him about his name. Now I knew why we went there, now I know what it was for.
I'm an American expat living in Haarlem. I've always been pretty critical of Dutch singers. Now right in my own town, there you are, one guy with a hell of a voice, great timing and musical. All power to you. Keep going strong.
