This episode consists of major events such as the occurrence of source of inspiration for Sage Valmiki for writing Valmiki Ramayana, description of the great kingdom Ayodhya, the birth of Shree Ram and his 3 brothers and the pastimes of their early childhood.
Ramayana, the epic battle between good and evil, a story of values and ethics, has been revered by all of us since ages unknown. The sheer simplicity of Maa Sita and the divinity of Shree Ram is worshipped throughout generations and across the world! Devotion at its peak and the true meaning of surrender is taught to us by Lord Hanuman through this epic itself. These alluring details and captivating descriptions of each event of Ramayana were presented to us by the great Sage Valmiki.
Sage Valmiki was a great poet who dedicated his life through his devotion to Shree Ram. Valmiki Ramayana is his most celebrated written creation and we offer our respects unto him!
This is our sincere approach to depict the great legend Valmiki Ramayana and we offer this onto the Lotus feet of Shri Ram.

It is written in valmiki ramanyan that even at that time, there were technologies which were far more ahead of what we have today. Thede were canons, missile like arrows and even pushpak vimanas (flying vehicles).

I am reading the valmiki ramayana as it is by bibek debroy. In that book shanta is mentioned as king dashrats daughter and she get married to R̥śyaśr̥ṇga I am a little confused as too what this version is saying, could anybody help me understand or possibly are there any good websites where we could ask these questions to someone who has a better understanding?

It is impossible for millions of people to not know the Hindi language. The larger audience is aware of this language and Valmiki Ramayan being an Indian scripture needs to cater to the larger audience accordingly. Therefore it is only intelligent to make Ramayan in the language known to many, and not in English for a handful of people.
