Full Flight: American Airlines A319 Pittsburgh to Philadelphia (PIT-PHL)

- Hey guys! It's always unique getting to fly between two points in the same state, and that's just what I did here! Today I fly between Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania and Philadelphia, Pennsylvania aboard an American Airlines A319 across the Keystone State. The flight only takes a mere 43 minutes so it's very quick and this was particularly enjoyable because of how light the load was on the day. I always find it fascinating how these cities, which are the largest in PA, are both so close yet so different. While Philly has that big city east coast feel with the hustle and bustle, the Burgh is totally different with a small town feel located in the hills & valleys of W PA. Both definitely have their fair share of rich cultures though and they're both must visits if you're looking for two completely different experiences not far away from one another. The airports are also very interconnected with US Airways having hubs in both cities in the past (and we all know where it went after that). Was quite a nice, short, easy flight on American from the Steel City to the City of Brotherly Love. Hope you guys enjoy!

Nice flight across from Pittsburgh to Philadelphia Pennsylvania!
Great video kiddo! I believe that fall is really the best season everywhere in the North Hemisphere... Thanks for sharing!
Thejazzguy13 Aviation, thanks for sharing your video about your trip on American Airlines nonstop service from Pittsburgh to Philadelphia!
Those fall colors shown in this video certainly make me yearn for fall.
Awesome video and great trip report as always Chris, I liked the music choice lol!😸😸
Happy Mother's Day. You and your mom both brought joy to my life.
This summer I'm taking Amtrak from St Paul to Seattle, then flying home, looking forward to it. Love your videos, they have helped me much this past year, thanks
It's the Empire Builder correct?
@@blakefilippi9612 yes
I sure enjoy your opening picts...they sure add to your vlogs....thanks!
That 76ers song is stuck in my head now thanks
I have family that lives in Harrisburg, and we always visit in the fall. It's so beautiful then. Great video by the way, I always enjoy your commentary and music.
I love the fast walking !! LOL You should have taken the train because those changing leaves would be beautiful !!
76ers song will be in my head now
Way way way back in the day (college years) I flew TWA Philly-Pittsaburgh-Philly. Planes usually were constellations, aka Connies. Sure didn't make it in 46 minutes. LOL. What passed for a limo into Center City was $1.26. Memories.
Amazing flight across Pittsburgh to Philadelphia!
Amazing video! I agree with about Fall Season in PA. I was there in November and I think it was the peak. Love the autumn colors. I can see Green Dragon Farmers Market in Ephrata! Amazing video!!!!
Thankyou Chris love the detail , use to live CP air, lucky enough to fly when I was young orange silver , keep up great work from. Adelaide Australia
Im flying alone in july for the first time im so excited
I just flew alone for the very first time and I’m doing it again next Saturday to New York. You’ll be in good hands and the airline will take good care of you.
I have never flown alone, it seems fun as all he'll.
I've done it plenty of times and you will LOVE it. Might be a bit scary at first but embrace it.
Love the Philly song. 😂
And as always, great report dude!
Wow !!! Hopefully PHL is busier now!!! I've been in this airport multiple times and I have never seen it so empty!!!! Love the videos!!!!
There is just something cool about watching the shadow of the aircraft that you are on during landing....
Would be interesting to know how you knew of and obtained that 'Philadelphia' song, has a '70's feel to it--I guess if one is a basketball fan, then its not an issue--Liking your preface to going to PIT,the beautiful hills and fall colors, something we don't have here in SE Texas! From the order of images,it almost seemed you were outdoors all afternoon, had a pleasant dinner at the Red Skillet(what's on the menu?)in an unnamed city and straightaway to PIT--but I was fooled in finding out your flight left early the next morning--who was your chauffeur? That FA with the glasses upon deboarding, she had a tired,school-marm look to her,as if she was fed up with something
I love your videos
Another great video! This seems like a pretty decent flight. I heard Physical by Olivia Newton-John at 3:19. Is this a layover somewhere?
Weird indeed. A20 and those gates almost time for 787's. I remember my flights from SJU with US Airways on their A333's parking in those gates!
Love this video I live in Philadelphia and love the airport I’m going to Orlando sometime next month!
I flew this route in 2010. Nice ride. The service now is very expensive and limited. It's actually cheaper to take the train or drive the 5 hours. Philadelphia isn't a big market for Pittsburgh travelers.
The flight attendant who had her arms crossed when you were departing the plane didn’t seem to be the friendliest on the block:( As usual, another great vid....music and graphics a plus!
AA fa's are just bad. They don't like passengers and working, just the status
@R J I noticed that also. I left the Airline industry (as a FA) to work for Amtrak. I’m glad I left the Airline Industry. I’d love to be on a flight with Betty Nash. She’s a FA with AA #1 in seniority she’s the oldest flight attendant that’s still flying she’s been flying over 60 years and is around 82 there are UA-cam videos on her. Bette is DCA based and only works the shuttle flights between DCA-BOS-DCA
@@robertbauers2210 Nice to know that bit of trivia. Thanks!
What song is playing at the beginning portion of the video?
Love your videos! I work at PHL. Hopefully we'll run into each other of you ever return
My flight on Southwest from Omaha to Las Vegas in August only had 39 total people on board and I have never seen the garage at OMA have so many empty parking stalls and in Las Vegas seeing that airport being very quiet especially landside but airside was somewhat busy there
I hope you enjoy your flight
One of the future trip report videos will be on Denver Air Connection from Denver to Clovis and back and the Clovis to Denver flight will feature theplanesguy and the plane is a Donnier Fairchild regional jet
I use to fly into PHL & PIT on USAir connecting to and from ORD
Pennsylvania is a nice state!
Youre such a goodlooking guy 👏👏
Have u ever flown from Philadelphia to Watertown ny?
Why do you print out spare boarding passes?
He does it just in case the scanner breaks and can't scan the boarding pass on the phone.
^ plus if my phone dies & I just like to keep them always ;) And ya it's happened before that the scanner couldn't scan mobile and I needed the paper haha
5:10 lmao 😂 love the sped up walking
It’s so bizarre to see a former hub airport that no longer serves as one - PIT is huge!
Phil is huge!
Hi from Santos - São Paulo - Brasil !
I loved the 76ers theme song 😂
Have fun to go Philadelphia Pennsylvania
I'm flying from regan to tampa and I have a buisness class ticket is there buisness on an airbus 319 or is first class considered buisness the same
Huh? At 19:50 it looks like that Frontier A320 takes a nose dive upon takeoff.
Try having some Scooters Coffee when you are at Omaha Eppley Airfield Terminal 2
Uh oh, the many MANY Michael Sharp comments have landed!
2:45 I feel so bad for all the tall people who can't take that people mover 😔
I know bro, I barely fit in that thing 🤭
@@thejazzguy13 I don't think you get it lol. You said you had to take this *short people* mover ride 😂
Are you ever gonna do international flights in First or Business when things start looking better in this world?
Totally would love to & believe me, I CANT WAIT to go international again 😉
how are you able to name every plane's destination without being on them?
You can check tail numbers
When it’s safe, I think you should take a fight to somewhere in Asia
Jazzy guy can you do more Amtrak videos
Got one filmed on the Acela that'll come down the road 🤙🏻
Can you do a long distance amtrak video like the Empire builder or sunset limited or the California zephyr
And when will that acela vid come
