I assume he lets go of forward and shift whenever he vaults just because it lets you recover a little bit of your exhaustion while you’re in the vaulting animation. If you hold shift while vaulting you don’t recover it at all.

You can tell they suck at their job when they don't consider if a Generator was reduced to 0 charges to be completed. Crazy. Looks like it goes into negatives based on the UI, which might mean the game got confused and didn't know what to do, so assumed that the Generator couldn't be progressed. That, or the negative numbers would need to be "repaired" as well. Absolutely, crazy.
Even though the setup is not worth the gentime, I'm honestly looking at all the medkits you're putting down, thinking that's actually pretty dope for your team.
I dunno, it's not just about repairing the generator faster. That massive chunk is also essentially progress that the killer can never take away no matter how much they kick it or use whatever perks. Using it like this may not be very efficient, but split it up over several gens across a match...

I love that they added the little icon where you can see what survivers are doing right now. And your teammates did literally nothing. Thats why I hate my teammates and doc. I do kinda agree but there is one advantage. This Build lets you snipe Gens essentially. As Specialist cannot be affected by any Gen Regression Perks. The Killer essentially CANNOT take it away from you no matter how many Pain Res's, Pops, Surge, Eruptions etc. that they bring. This can slso be very sneaky. As a Killer isn't going to hard defend a Gen that has been 0 for most of the match. They do one not even long chase...and somehow the Gen is already done. Heck even if they do stop it, it's gonna be very difficult to keep low given Survivors only need to do like...what? 66% of the Gen now if you stack BNP ontop? It can catch a Killer off gaurd. And if DBD has taught me anything, the element of surprise can be just as, if not more powerful than the things that work obviously well.
So I just tried this exact build about 5 times, and it just takes too long running around getting chests when you could just be working on the gens It's not worth it, IMO. Still a fun vid, though.

I think specialist has great use in breaking 3 gens but otherwise the setup isn't ideal for most of your gen repairing. it's like potential energy except more setup and permanent. I can see this paired with potential energy to just instantly shit on 3 gens
Does the time spent doing this actually make more sense gen-time efficiency wise? No, because you spend more time searching chests than you end up saving on gens. BUT this DOES counter 3-gens in the endgame, if you hold on to your tokens that is.
the perk and the bug with it arent even that good. every single time I ran that perk I either couldnt find any chests or my teammates actually did gens for once. any time I run a skill check build, no skill checks. healing build, no heals. endgame build, no endgame. the game is literally rigged against me.
Technically you can still repair the gen, but you'd need to reach the maximum value of the integer which is too big of a number to be done in probably a whole life time 😂
both specialist and hardened are bad perks, too much setup for something that has little reward or gets completely outshined by another perk that does the same thing but better (calm spirit)
