Excellent video. A 4230 with a cab and an open 5020 were the biggest tractors I drove when I worked on a farm years ago. I like the 70's, 80's and 90's John deere tractors the most. To me they have unbeatable stying to them. I love my 430 garden tractor because it sort of resembles the larger farm tractors. You're doing a very good job coming up with different contents for your videos. Thanks.
If you have ever been to the farm machinery shows and shows like that you may have seem the Ls Tractor brand. We run 3 Ls Tractors on our farm and if you want to possibly come out and record us doing some hay we do about 5000 acres of hay with those tractors. We also have a Allis Chalmers 7050, Oliver 1650, And a John Deere 6600 combine. We have videos on our channel about the Ls Tractors. Ls Tractor makes all the smaller case and new holland tractors but if you want to possibly come out and record some of those tractors please reply!
Great video, enjoyed the older iron in the field. I read the title as meaning 7520 articulated/7520 FWD or the 820 2cylinder/little 820 utility but there wouldn't be many. Wow, that Kuhn merger on the 8220 was really putting hay into a windrow! I know the 8345 was only planting corn but the difference in just how quiet the tractor was running was interesting (at $350,000 and all the computerization, it should speak English to the operator)
Ran a pair of 8770s they were very good tractors I liked thecabs and the fuel use per acre You could back it off a bit and run on less fuel per acre than a tractor half the size and power. Thanks for bringing back old memories.
Have you ever did a video with John Deere tractors from different decades that have the same model numbers? Like the 8430 from the 70s and the newer row crop 8430
My favorite are the 8440 and the 8770. We own both of these models and are still being used today. The 8440 was my grandpas first Brand New tractor purchase.
I love those modern 8000s, we have a 2WD 8110 and two 2WD 8220s on our farm, all ran the mixer wagons. We have a whole fleet of 8000s on the farm, the powershift is so nice on them. Also had a 4440 way back before the 8000s
Yes have spent many hours running a 4440!! We still have one on the farm!! Mainly have it on the hay mower. Definitely a great tractors. Reliable has the 4020s were. My thoughts and opinions anyway!!!
My favorite was the 9220, but a question about the guy running the 7330....was he planting rowed beans on top of the previous corn from the year before ?
I used a pair of 8770s to farm in western Kansas great tractors. Dryland or irrigated rowcrop or flat they road well and worked better. Thank you for the memories
You may want to contact Kip Seigler of Michigan. He has a UA-cam channel & his dad is always looking at auctions. They’re long time JD users & they may be able to help you find the final 7.
The first tractor I drove was a JD 2020. Great little tractor. All we really use it for is plowing snow, but it’s a good, very solid tractor. Runs like a beast.
Would be helpful to know how the numbers were derived. Like the 2550 and 2555. The last 5 means 4 wheel assist. I’m sure the other numbers have similar designations. Just a thought.
Where is the 7010 awd.10series 20 series 30series, 55 series, 6o series. 50series, 8440series, 8450 series and the 8000 series ,the.1000series which were German made. 2110, 2120.2130 and so on There Are about 10 series.missing. l think there was a 65 series in there too. They were Just before the 8000 series
great video. Hard to beat a 4440. Sorry for the off topic question, but you're in a unique situation to answer it. In all your filming travels how hard would you say it is to find IH 4166's? I'm looking for one and was shocked when both fastline and tractor house didn't have any except salvage. I'm sure one will turn up, but where'd they all go?
When we bought our Manitoba farm in 95 it came with a line, a 4440, a 8440 and a 8640 plus a 8820 Titan II. The 8440 was my first articulated tractor and where it was clunky it was just a good ol work horse, till it's cylinder liners started moving (shady engine job by previous owner) then it was gone.
I find the different ways that manufacturers assign model numbers to be interesting. I also enjoy comparing same model numbers between brands such as the deere 8770 and the ford 8770 or 7710 deere and ford just to name a few.
We had a 4555 I ran pulled a Fair Oaks slicker float, 22 foot field cultivator and a rotary hoe mostly I think he might had pull a disk a little and my dad planted soybeans with it.
I used to deliver steel to Fair Oaks Mfg in east arkansas they built floats, rollers, amd miscellaneous equipment for mainly rice farmers in the central Arkansas rice belt for years
the farm i work on. has an 8330 on their corn planter, the farm that farms our farm also has a 6155m, dont you think the 9330 chopping corn was a bit overkill?
I have an idea for your next compilation video. You should do tractors from different makes with the same model number. (i.e. JD 8870 and NH 8870) or do one of reuse of numbers within a brand (ex. 1970s 7520 and 2005 7520, 8430 4wd and 8430 mfwd, 4520 utility and 4520 row crop and so forth.)
I love the John Deere 4430 because I have one with low hours and I love the John Deere 7810 also. But a really cool tractor is the John Deere 4000 tractor
I offered to show one of your video's to the Ladies in Church recently. They didn't want to see it. Just goes to show that there is a little bit of Evil in Everyone.
I ran 4455 for years it was a good tractor, was replaced with 8400. We never were really Brand loyalist. our Farm has been placed in with a CO-OP these days. we run Red, CaseIH, Masseys, Versitile, and still some Blue. tryin to get a Green Fendt Vario into the mix.
Pete Switchback 12.5. The 9100 got the 8.1. At some point early on there was a 10.5 or so liter engine in either or both of these tractors I can’t remember
I think the 2 most interesting were the 7330 and the 9330. The 7330 without the cab looked so big compared to the operator. he looked like a little kid. The 9330 without the duals looks like it's to narrow to stay upright. I'm sure it's fine but it doesn't look like it has a big enough base. lol
Thank you I appreciate the longer videos the other ones are good that you’ve done but they were went too fast this one was nice and long and relaxing to watch
That open station 4wd JD 7330 w/ dual wheels planting corn was badass! I would've loved driving that for everything!
Excellent video. A 4230 with a cab and an open 5020 were the biggest tractors I drove when I worked on a farm years ago. I like the 70's, 80's and 90's John deere tractors the most. Wow I feel like I've seen that 4440 from somewhere.
iowadairyboys yep I fell like I’ve seen it on your page
The 4455 is mine I'd love to have one my farm
It's my fav next to a 4020. I visited willow runs farm in central ny back in 03,it was a dream seeing half dozen 4455 in mint condition
The awesome 4440 was the last tractor my dad owned and I drove it to do his farming in 1975 when he had major back surgery. It is a great tractor.
4440 was my favorite growing up.
the 4440 is pretty cool but that 9330 chopping on singles was awesome
Another fine offering from the back catalogue 👍👍👍
Thank you Craig.
The 4440 and the 8770 have my vote!
Been done with farming for about 15 year. Still have our 8770. We put about 1 hour per year on it. It's stored and preserved and going up in value.
My favorite is the John Deere 1010. Just because it was the first one I ever drove by myself as a kid.
Dad had a 1010 also. A little under powered, at least for what dad used it for.
I have a 1972 1020. It's also the first tractor I learned on.
Love the videos, especially the John Deere videos. Keep up the great work. Thank you for putting in all the time and hard work!
We had a 4440, 4455 and currently have a 8330. Loved them all.

Love them older Deere’s even though I’m a red fan loved the 8770 always thought those were neat lookin

I liked thecabs and the fuel use per acre
You could back it off a bit and run on less fuel per acre than a tractor half the size and power.
Thanks for bringing back old memories.
The biggest tractor I've ever driven was a 7730.
Here in Galiza (Spain) we dont have much bigger tractors than that...
My dad had two 4440s when I grew up as a kid. 44 is still my favorite number to this day.
Have you ever did a video with John Deere tractors from different decades that have the same model numbers? Like the 8430 from the 70s and the newer row crop 8430
i realize I am kind of randomly asking but does anyone know of a good place to stream new movies online ?
@Cyrus Grayson Try FlixZone. Just google for it :)
@Jadiel Emmanuel Yup, I've been using Flixzone for years myself :D
@Jadiel Emmanuel Thank you, I went there and it seems like a nice service :D I appreciate it!
@Cyrus Grayson no problem :D
That 7330 with the open-station platform looked pretty sweet with the duals!
It is a pretty looking cool set up and a unique variation.
@@bigtractorpower did you have the 4000 on your list. Not too many around.
Keep up the great on the vids and pretty cool to see the tractors in the field.
15:20 JD 9330 is a beast!!!
Looks so weird without the double wheels though. Wouldn't want to take that thing on a hill in that state.
I love green tractors!!!!
My favorite are the 8440 and the 8770. We own both of these models and are still being used today. The 8440 was my grandpas first Brand New tractor purchase.
We have a 4555 and it will be working hard this spring!
Yes! Love that one! Dad bought one in 1990. I'd love to find it again...
I love those modern 8000s, we have a 2WD 8110 and two 2WD 8220s on our farm, all ran the mixer wagons. We have a whole fleet of 8000s on the farm, the powershift is so nice on them. Also had a 4440 way back before the 8000s
The 8000s of all flavors are pretty nice. Do you by chance run a Claas 900-series chopper? Ever run Dion?
Yes have spent many hours running a 4440!! We still have one on the farm!! Mainly have it on the hay mower. Definitely a great tractors. Reliable has the 4020s were. My thoughts and opinions anyway!!!
My favorite was the 9220, but a question about the guy running the 7330....was he planting rowed beans on top of the previous corn from the year before ?
The 8770 was my grandfather's favorite tractor but after he retired from farming, he just kept the 4440 around which I drive sometimes today.
Loved the 9220 because i had one...lol....Would love to find low houred 4440...Impossible to find that holy grail though.
Great video
Wrong description there I think bud
Pay attention to what he says throughout the whole video and you’ll understand
The first tractor I drove was a JD 2020. Great little tractor. All we really use it for is plowing snow, but it’s a good, very solid tractor. Runs like a beast.
Cool to see a 2550 in the video. Don't see too many of them. A local vegetable farmer here in NJ has one.
we had a lot of 4455 back in the 80's - 90's in south africa. great tractors.
Grew up on a 2440 and 2555 put many hours on those two
Would be helpful to know how the numbers were derived. Like the 2550 and 2555. The last 5 means 4 wheel assist. I’m sure the other numbers have similar designations. Just a thought.
This is such a cool unique video...Thanks for all your hard work btp
This is Robert--Have the JD 8770 a 1993 we had since new, has 6265 Hrs. Been a great tractor.

I love the 4440 and the 8440 the best I have run them both over the years I worked on the farm
My great grandpa built oliver tractors here in southbend indiana
Awesome Video Buddy!!
How about a JD 2020.I had one on our farm it was a 1968.Really liked that tractor.
If I find a 2020 to film and others in this list it would be neat to do a video 1010, 2020, 3030, 4040
The 4440 is a nice looking tractor👍
The 3550 in Argentina is a very nice tractor.
👍👍
My first tractor I ever drove was my dad's 1980 David Brown Case 990. And I was only 6 years old and needed both feet to push in the clutch!
4440...iconic!
Is a John Deere 4000 on your list?
My brother has one, but he is in S MN
The 9220 is my favorite tractor of all time at one point we had 3 on our custom farm at the same time
that 7330 looked more like my style..8220 looked good also tossup between those 2..great vid bro
You should see what Oliver tractors that have double numbers, if they could be found. Such as the 77, 88, 880, etc.
This was a clever video idea!
How is the 8345r a double model number tractor?
At the end of the video I explain the 8345R is not a double model number but I thought it is a cool sequence of numbers so I included it in the video.
4440 look like the one I use to have
We have a 4555 that we plant corn with and pull a 1770 deere planter. And located in southern Indiana if you would like information let me know.
4440 for sure since we have one but the 8440 is also tops with me. Thanks!!!
I find the different ways that manufacturers assign model numbers to be interesting. I also enjoy comparing same model numbers between brands such as the deere 8770 and the ford 8770 or 7710 deere and ford just to name a few.
I like the 4440. Use to run one for farmer
Luv the videos TXS
I have got a John Deere 6110R and a 5055E. Nice research Jason.
Nice tractors. I like those models.
That 9330 is impressive. If you count double zeros our farm has nearly all double model numbers, 4440, 4555, 6115D, 7800, and 8300.
We had a 4555 I ran pulled a Fair Oaks slicker float, 22 foot field cultivator and a rotary hoe mostly I think he might had pull a disk a little and my dad planted soybeans with it.

He had a video on the 9330 chopping corn. That particular chopper required a lot of PTO horsepower
I see you had the iowadairyboys 4440 on the video👍
You know your 4440’s 😁👍
@@bigtractorpower Or his UA-camrs!
On the farm I work for we have a 4440, 8440, 8110, and 9330. The combine is a 9660. 😁

That poor 4455! That’s a lot of drill for that tractor!
A 30ft drill is ok. The same tractor can operate a 12 row 30ft corn planter. Very common set up where this was filmed in WNY.
4455 with straight stack 😍gona have to do that to my 7830

Does the 9220 have a 8.1 or 12.5 engine??
Pete Switchback 12.5. The 9100 got the 8.1. At some point early on there was a 10.5 or so liter engine in either or both of these tractors I can’t remember
So explain to me why my 8770 has 350 hp ?
I am not sure the brochure lists the 8770 at 300 hp which is what I listed it at in this video.
shouldn't have ,the 8870 had 350hp
Would u consider the JD 4000 to be one of these tractors
Yes. It is most likely the first. I have not had a chance to film a 4000 yet.
We have a John Deere 8335R on our farm in nw Iowa.
There are more than 20 if you count variations of the same model with a different letter behind it
I think the 2 most interesting were the 7330 and the 9330. The 7330 without the cab looked so big compared to the operator. he looked like a little kid. The 9330 without the duals looks like it's to narrow to stay upright. I'm sure it's fine but it doesn't look like it has a big enough base. lol
My favorite is the 8840.
My is the 4440
The first 8345R was introduced in 2009 & replaced in 2010

9330 on a pull behind chopper??? lmao
