Yes diverse culture everywhere except the Countries from which they came, which are homogeneous. If they loved it so much they would replicate it but they don't because it actually weakens social cohesion.
Not many tourists, not many students (domestic & international), and many shops closed down. Many homeless people and brats are hanging around. So sad to see my favourite city is dying.

It was more vibrant in the 70' - 90's to the quiet, boring city centre it has evolved into, there was far more pedestrian foot traffic in its heyday and more of a buzz.

I know, shocking, isn't it? They are slowly taking over NZ, especially Auckland. It's become very Asian. The real NZ is to be found in the small towns away from Auckland. They have let far too many into the country, and it is changing the whole feel of the country. It does not feel like a European or even Pacific society anymore. Asians always seem to like to move to ex-British places like Australia and NZ.

Locals NEVER EVER go to Auckland CBD . It is dirty, hard to park, full of homeless and political activism. There is not a single business in the CBD that can't be found in another part of Auckland .
